NO ONE owes you a chance for you to change. Nobody is obligated to give you a chance to change for the better. The only one who does, though, is YOURSELF. Want people to see you've changed for the better? Then start being a better person, NOW. Not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, and not next year. Start NOW.

Also, don't brag about how you're a better person, show you're a better person. In your case, Pedophil, 5 weeks due to house arrest isn't going to cut it. This is a commitment you're going to have to engage in, possibly for life. Your sins and your past actions will haunt you. You will be ostracized and ridiculed. You will pay for those misdeeds and be punished for and by them until you die. You owe too much to just hand wave away.
