It's not just that he was defending those things, but he was defending them in ways that didn't track for sane people. He would use leaps of logic and weird equivocations that made previous supporters slowly back out of the room because it was pretty clear that while he was good on some things like Lord of the Rings, he wasn't just terrible on topics of sex/religion/politics, he was harboring a pretty significant hateboner in places and as it progressed and people's spidey senses started tingling, it seemed to be triangulated around the issue of the sexualization of kids. It was going beyond mere contrarianism and becoming a very concerning hill for him to die on.

My understanding is that while he sounds young, he's actually in his 40's (that in and of itself is often a red flag). He's someone who should know better, but clearly does not, almost like he has a compulsion. He doesn't get the excuse of zoomer autism. This is someone who most likely spent his adolescence and passed through puberty without the internet. It sounds more like some creepy identifying-with-ones-tormentor shit like homo demons made a mark on his soul and now he's bound to perpetuate it, even if it's only defending it in online debates (and let's hope that's all it is).

But we all know these kinds of stories get spun-up when someone is trying to cover for abuse in the family or close community, when the perp is still alive. Blaming the clergy could be a variation of the domestic abuse cope "I got jumped by blacks" which in his case would be an obvious non-starter. As far as I remember he was telling this in an old, anti-feminist video where he said "Men are also being abused" and then went to "a person close to me" (Which might as well has been him).

Also, he had said that he grew up with no dad and an uncle was taking care of him or got him a transformer he "stumbled upon".

Lets check in on JSP's fall from grace through his socials. JSP has been pretty quiet on twitter, only retweeting things. The last time he made his own tweet or reply was April 22nd. He has continued to "soft block" his followers. Soft blocking is:

Basically, whenever someone follows JSP, he just goes in and unfollows them. The follower doesnt know they have been unfollowed, and has to go to JSP's twitter account to see his feed and can try to follow again. Right now he sits at 161 followers, but that may change if he goes through today to soft blocks people again.

Finally, being a new(er)fag to this stuff, I never thought about checking, but JSP has a Patreon.

I looked on Social Blades to see if they monitor Patreons, but they dont(they should if they can), so im not sure how many people have dropped from it recently. Right now he is sitting at 124 patreons at $380 a month. Its not much, but I would love to get $380 a month for doing nothing on Patreon as JSP hasnt posted anything on it since March of 2020. Since I know about it now, I will try to keep an eye on it as well as his other socials.

Of all the people to have write a Dale Keown book. Was the writer of Earth's Best Friends too busy? Why would he not try for Mark Baron, Chuck Dixon, hell even Mark Polton or Mandy Summers. If they were busy, why not just wait, it doesn't seem like Dale is hurting for money and he could use that time to make an omnibus of the original Pitt material.

i’ve read read one of Phillip Diaz’s books. The Magic Cop one. It was a paint by the numbers detective story with a little tragic back story thrown in. I don’t know if his writing has improved since then because I have not bought anymore of his books but, Dale most definitely had better choices.

To add some context:

1. late july 2021: he defends the sanfran gay choir when they did a song about grooming kids
2. mid-late september 2021: has a debate with Rekieta over communism and outs him as such
3. april 2022: Florida anti-groom bill passes and he spergs out

That's pretty much it, isn't it? I mean, stoned or not, a lot of people got their introduction to JSG on that stream, and because he can come across as sensible and articulate when he's not talking about questionable relationships with minors and giving and taking it up the ass, a lot of people subscribed long enough to find out that thingy that he also was about.
