You can't take completely illogical standpoints

Two camps of corporate elites with deviant tendencies who pay each other loads of money working together to further ruin and corrupt our culture and youth while exponentially increasing their own power isn't an illogical standpoint. Do you even know what the district getting dissolved does? All that happens is Disney has to pay taxes and the state has to pay Disney's expenses. It's literally nothing but an economic exchange between two groups that have supported each other since day one. Ron's done a lot of pro-Disney work in his tenure, since Disney pumped a lot of money into his government. They didn't just magically become bitter enemies when they're each still holding and actively transferring mutual funds around. The world's far more complex and interconnected than you seem to think, and unfortunately almost all of that interconnectivity is used for tyrannical oligarchs to serve their own whims.

Okay, sperg, explain in what situation would Disney willingly shut down Reedy Creek Improvment District, something that gave them an extreme competitive advantage over all other businesses for a period of 60 years? Why would Disney attack it's golden goose via DeSantis? You literally told me this happening was kabuki theater and DeSantis and Disney are on the same team with no real conflict between them. Explain how that would work. Why would Disney willingly choose to chop off its own hand and how does it benefit from that? I used to think AOC could be different, but the second Warren let her in to the fold of the dem party, AOC jumped at it, even though she essentially ran on the no more boomers who don't have people's best interest in mind platform. I would be surprised that she still has supporters but let's be honest, people don't know who or what they vote for, they just get told by Facebook memes and off they go to the polls to further torpedo their own interests.

They don't need that advantage anymore, and the only effects as far as I can tell of the district getting incorporated into the state would be Florida gets money (Disney pays taxes), and Disney loses debt (Florida pays the roughly $1 trillion debt of the district). In no case or way is it some kind of moral move like DeSantis is making it out to be, it's just a financial trade all while the sickening shit his bill supposedly aims to stop keeps getting into schools and keeps getting taught regardless, paid for in part by Disney who's also getting some debt taken care of by DeSantis in the process. Maybe I'm misunderstanding it, but the whole thing seems like a very obvious "both sides are in this together" move.

It wasn't Warren, it was Pelosi - Most famously when AOC could have stopped the shell of arms/ammo for Israel's Iron Dome and Pelosi sat her down like a little girl and had AOC change her vote from NO to PRESENT (while crying the whole time). I seriously don't trust DeSantis or any politician, or Musk or any businessman. As far as I'm concerned they're all equally corrupt. If I'm coming off as a doomposter telling you to "just give up lol", I don't mean to. I'm not saying nothing should be done or nothing matters, I'm saying what these blatantly corrupt people are doing to, supposedly, stop corruption is probably not as genuine and altruistic as you think it is. Not that something shouldn't/can't be done, but that the solution should be coming from somebody who's not a longstanding part of the same system they're claiming to fight.

Something is definitely happening behind the scenes at Twitter. People are getting their accounts unbanned, right wingers are gaining tens of thousands of followers in a few days and I'm seeing more conservative tweets from people I don't follow on my feed. The troons there are scrambling to cover up whatever fuckery they were pulling for years to amplify their preferred political voices while soft shadowbanning the ones they disagreed with. I hope Musk reveals the full extent of what they were doing to fuck over their political opponents.

I give credit for Thorsden for updating their design with the newer generation of stocks more resembling rifle stocks from a couple of meters away compared to this cringe looking evil design.
