It ain't schizophrenic when pretty much everyone, even here, agreed until a few months ago HoloID was a guinea pig branch, always playing second fiddle to EN and JP. Why do you think they have the leniency to collab with the penishaver?

The thing is, no one even in Indonesia even predicted Indonesia could have a VTuber market as big as this. And all it took, as it turns out, is experimenting beyond just the weebs market, but also targeting the normies. Kobo's style is pretty much a mirror of a very popular streamer/youtuber in Indonesia, and it translated to 2-5x CCV of other Indonesian VTuber. Coupled that with her choice of games, pretty much known to most Indonesian aged 15-30, and you got yourself a success

Gentle reminder that until months ago, HoloID number is still inferior compared to both NijiID  and other indies like Maha5. And yes, this included both CCV, SC, and merch sales

Just caught the fishman's cameo in one of the new seasonal anime. I guess he's doing more than buying up girls from small corpos.

HoloID1 and 2 made up all 6 of the Top 6 Indonesian corpo V-Tubers at any given point. HoloID now makes up 9 of the Top 10 Indonesian corpo V-Tubers, and the one person in there that isn't Holo is Hana Macchia, who was cursed by a bandwagon subscriber wave that didn't stick around.

Discussions can be had about who the majority of their demographic actually is (Spoilers: it's still not Indonesia), but they've never been underappreciated, overlooked, or in need of saving to the degree it warrants a rags-to-riches narrative.

This scares the ever-living shit out of me. Not because Vox is in danger, but because he's actually encouraging people to go into that chink site. Is this the first time he's done this? I like Vox but god fucking damn does this make me uncomfortable.

Edit: Do other NijiEN members also stream there? I really only follow Vox and Luca, so I wouldn't fucking know if they do.

Edit 2: Checked the Tweet. It seems a lot of fans also share my concern, including Chinese fujos themselves. Relieved to hear I'm not the only one afraid of this, but also even more concerned that everyone on Luxiem is launching on Bilibili. I know Luxiem has a shit ton of Chinese fujos and the agency needs to expand, but Jesus Christ, they don't have to pander that hard.

Just before I try to find a copy of Berenstein Bears to ensure its spelt correctly, we are talking about the same (ex-)NijiID who usually average 100-300 viewers, correct?

I'm not sure I'm following correctly. HoloID has never trended in viewership below NijiID, nor have they ever compared in SC donations. Merch sales is a toss-up given neither company ever offer specific numbers, but HoloID had a combined >4m subs before Kobo even existed.

Will the real numberfags please stand up? I'm not a numberfag at all so I've never paid any attention to the specifics. I only have ever had a general understanding that the ID branch is the weakest in terms of numbers in comparison to other Holo branches. Are there any numberfag archivists who want to go digging for older data sets? Because I certainly don't care enough about things like this to do it myself, but because of this recent conversation I'd still like someone to spoonfeed me the information just so I can better understand HoloID's position in relation to other Vtubers.

You're correct. HoloID's live viewership performance is the overall lowest in the production and has the largest drop-off over time. Vestia and Kaela are already <2K.

However, HoloID's viewership and sub count has been the highest in any ID branch pretty much since they debuted, and they've always occupied the highest sub count ID V-Tuber list as well. This notion that they've spent the last two years as underdogs is Historical Revisionism in autistic weeb form.

I believe @Rezza speaking with perspective of HoloID relative to HoloJP & HoloEN, not relative to NijiID or other ID vtubers.
