Is it fair to say that Biden is such a bad president he actually killed the Trump thread on the main board?

For a few months, it was extremely popular and had several dedicated posters. It was clear that many of them were the same people who'd been frustrated by Trump his entire presidency. Yet despite having an active, vocal userbase that made it extremely active, it withered and died by late 2021, going from a front-page staple to barely staying on Page 2.

Has Biden fucked up so bad that nobody gives a shit about the orange man anymore?
I thought the intent of the TES board was to highlight the rabid Trump fans that defend him no matter what. I don't know what happened beyond sharing right-wing memes and patriots.win posts. Hell, even the TDS forum died down.

Arguably the Ukraine invasion would not have happened under Trump precisely because he would be expected to do say that and follow through with it.
I think Chomsky is more surprised that Trump, the supposed strongman fascist who would have marched us into a war over his bruised ego is the one that came up with a sensible solution.

As contrasted by the "experienced" Joe Biden and the Establishment whose response has been "pour weapons, money and mercenaries into Ukraine to bleed Russia's military strength."

All around, Biden's approach just drags the war longer and longer for no reason, this causing more human suffering for no go reason.
I don't see a solution besides what we're doing though. So long as Putin is convinced he can take Ukraine through military might, diplomacy is of no real use. And the alternative is what... let Putin make whatever demands of Ukraine he thinks he can get away with? There's an old quote from Classical times that I feel is appropriate to the situation:
The single best augury is to fight for one's country.
Ukraine did nothing to deserve the invasion, yet it has happened, and the world can either support their right to self-defense and self-determination, or let Putin become emboldened as he bites chunks off of Europe.

Nerd Prom was last night, utter bourgeoisie with Joepedo thinking he's the most clever person who reads a tranny "comedian's" jokes. You're suffering but take heart that they're doing this dinner for you.

Prices going up is a joke now. The middle class is the problem.

If the media weren't a part of these assholes and covered their tracks, they would be Libertarian party tier in terms of irrelevancy.

Is he not aware of how Trump would "negotiate" with Putin? I mean, sure, "Pull your troops out or we send in the B-1 Lancers to cruise missile every war machine with a Russian tricolor" is technically a negotiating position that will end the war quickly, but I somehow doubt its one that commie wants.

Hasn't Chomsky hated Trump's guts? This seems out-of-character for him to say, even though he's correct in a broken clock sense.

He has very strong TDS and also a while ago wanted unvaxed folks to be gulaged unironically lol.

It makes sense when you consider that this is what the Uniparty and the military-industrial complex want. Conflict drives war spending, which fuels the need for bigger military budgets, which means more kickbacks for the Uniparty and defense contractors. Peace is good for the people, but bad for those who have to justify their need for billions of dollars to buy more fighter jets.

The issue is that they miscalculated in how it was going to play out. They figured they could swing their dick around with sanctions on Russia and sending tons of hardware to Ukraine, then Russia would have to play ball and the glorious West would be seen as the brilliant saviors. Instead, Russia started selling oil in rubles, weakening the petrodollar; the EU is being forced into paying for the gas they need because of their own green lunacy in building wind farms instead of nuclear plants; and while Ukraine's not rolling over and dying without a fight, it's not the slam dunk the administration needs. But since they don't know what else to do and can't back down without looking weak, they just double down and keep antagonizing instead of looking for a more peaceful solution.

Look, I'm no fan of Russia, this invasion was wrong from the start and there are too many innocents that have been killed over this. But there's got to be a way to end this without escalating into a more serious conflict.

Or we could just throw billions more dollars of guns and ammo at the problem, surely it'll work this time.

Well it will be hard to justify more money for fighter jets when the Russians decided to go low tech and use Scooby Doo vans.

Speaking of fighter jets, there has been a cut to replacement of the F-15C by the F-15EX so some squadrons will not have jets to play around with.

we may get Geoff Diehl as governor this year since we had a milquetoast RINO like Baker holding back the Democrat supermajority bullshit California suffers from.
Diehl's a Trumper. The wave will be red, but Baker was that type of politician work both sides. Geoff is good on the issues, but maybe Mass will lean Blue.

It's one of those you have to see it happen to believe it cases, as is the same with Zeldin beating Hochul.

Seemingly, the idea behind the WHCD was to make the ruling class seem more jovial, relatable and friendly. To use self-deprecating humor to acknowledge criticisms of themselves. Today, it just feels like a boujee champagne-swilling party for rich politicians to hob nob with celebrities while the very press that's meant to hold them accountable heaps praise and love on them like swooning fanboys. It's especially a bad look in a situation like this where the country is faced with economic recession and potential global war. It's the exact opposite of relatable, it makes them look like Bond villains.

The only good one of these things was that Al Smith dinner after the debates when Donald Trump ripped them to pieces and showed that he knew that they likely trafficked children out of Haiti. What's one that anybody remembers except that one?

The WHCD has done only one good thing and that's pissed trump off enough to the point where he ran for president as revenge after Obama insulted him

Great idea to piss off the guy who dedicated a chapter to revenge in his book.

Every time someone says the A-10 Warthog would be useless against a near peer power should have this picture rubbed in their face until it's sandpapering their fucking skull away.

The last picture should read "Happy A-10 Noises!"

Wait a minute, part of the application process is using a hashtag on Twitter? Share as much as you want about yourself, but not TOO much (remember, we have your contact information!) Dude, that sounds creepy as hell.

It's very, very obviously an op. I'm guessing 4chan?

Hey, that’s one way to avoid war. The question becomes whether or not the bluff will be called.

Well, I got threadbanned over talking about the election (smug liberal posting and the Sam Hyde quote tend to make me worry, and then the right went off the deep end if you ask me). I’m going to guess a lot of the /pol/ crowd moved to Ron DeSantis being their major idol. That or they realized MAGA wasn’t just limited to Donald Trump.

No, they know. They relish in the hatred and the ability for them to ignore it because it's not meant for the dirty peons they unfortunately must lord over but rather themselves and the leaders of other countries who also hate them (besides the EU of course, they're the only ones who matter to our government apparently). After all in their minds only bigots hate them, so why worry?
And they can post bullshit like this with their tweet being ratioed the only repercussion.
