So Phil’s new members goal is actually a choice of 3 things and set to 450 members..

1. React to another Knudsen DTRH, either TempleOS or Spoony.
2. React to original TIHYDP by EvilAJ depending on if he gets permission to do so.
3. React to the Rambo Howard video calling out Phil for being a money hungry scammer.

Now this is very slippery as having these 'options' without a clear definition of what getting to 450 members means, that Phil will be able to weasel out and pick the lowest effort option. Like who the fuck cares about him reacting to TempleOS or Spoony? Nobody based on what chat was saying. But the carrot has been set with the Rambo/Howard video. I can't imagine Phils ego is anywhere close to be able to ask Rambo/Howard permission to react after 7 years and then sit through the video live on stream.

Once again the grift continues.

Phil misunderstanding "workaholic." Not understanding that maybe people want to hang out to hang out, not hang out to pump out content. Rambo and Howard both had jobs and lives; imagine thinking you just want to sit down and play some Street Fighter, and Phil breaks the camera out to make money. And remember, John lived in New York (I believe Howard did/does too). They couldn't just hang out to hang out.

That's not being a workaholic, that's being a terrible "friend" if not exploitative, you figure out where that is on your scale.

Phil admits he never directly talked to Howard; yeah, Howard said something like that, how you weren't a friend, just John's friend.

As for John not responding; 9/10 chance he was doing his "Going into the woods" thing. Or he wanted a call and not a text; and I understand that sentiment, there's some shit you don't do via text. Somehow a bunch of weirdos on the internet knew what was going on in his "friends" lives better than Phil does.

Edit: Phil said watching their video destroyed him and he felt awful... 0/10 chance he didn't grab his phone and immediately call John after. John even said it near the end of the video, something like "You have my number, give me a call and we can talk."
