Never seen this channel before, seems okayish, might check out more in the series. However, fuck putting the binaural knocks in the video, it's 1:55AM and it scared the absolute hell out of me!

I've tried to get into his videos before (the ones about the super virus' from the 90s were really cool), but around halfway through the vids I begin to lose interest. I think his issue is he stretches a point that could be made in a few sentences to a full paragraph and that really bogs it down. His topics are really cool though, and they've gotten me to do my own research on them.

The video is admittedly well-made, I've just finished watching it.

I just (sadly?) can't relate to any of it, I guess I just wasn't easily scared and/or superstitious as a kid? I of course remember some games scaring me with their uncanny valley feeling, or jumpscares, etc. But the whole "I couldn't sleep for years" or "it gave me a phobia/nightmares" etc just never happened for me.

Edit: I just briefly talked to my partner about this and he suggested that me not having been raised religious could be the huge difference compared to other people. Huh. Some food for thought.

That is an interesting thought for sure. I will say Im sad sad that my actual childhood trauma one was not on here. Gooey Gus form a weird ass Canadian show they used to show on Noggin called ghostwriter. I love how he and his fans think hes some kind of king of edge, when iv'e seen videos of average normal women talk about gore, true crime, horrific book content, and known chicks who have run the gauntlet and they don't even come close to trying to come off as some edgy know it all. Literally every 16 year old knows about psuedoscorpion on /mu/ and everyone has seen this shit on /b/. I can guarantee there are very small youtubers who have talked about this shit before too, before and after him. He barely even shows or describes shit, how is he edgy? Sorry for being MATI but I hate people who claim to be the best at some niche topic or know it all,

He didn’t even give a good explanation and cut out part of what he was saying, but the tl;dr is that the FBI supports mixtapes and mixtape commentary because the copycats who clone popular mixtapes and add illegal content are who they are looking for, and this helps draw them out?
