I don't know, while the show is certainly designed for kids, it has a certain childlike, whimsical charm that appeals to adults and man-children. Nostalgia is an important factor in this, and the show has clear classic cartoon influence. It appeals to people of all ages for different reasons, but that's no reason to declare Bronies an oppressed, discriminated people and that they are special for liking a TV show. It's like musical elitism all over again.

Yeah, considering the childlike charm, it could for bronies being a some fantasy or whatever as in being like a child again or something, kinda like with other cartoon spergs in a way. The oppressed, discriminated thing some bronies try to use is as valid as an SJW or love-shy saying they are oppressed and discriminated. Nothing more than spergs and autist whining about people not liking them.

"Classic cartoon influence"... in the same way a crappy garage band was influenced by a much better, well-known band?

I've never seen music fans claim they were oppressed for liking what they do, excepting people who still believe that crap about rock 'n' roll being a rebellion against your parents. Maybe I'm not traveling in the right musical circles?

If you want to feel like a child again, there have to be better ways to do it than MLP. Throwing temper tantrums when you don't get your way, for instance.

Out of morbid curiosity, I played it for a few minutes. It's crap. And not just because of the blatant diaper fetish. It's clearly in beta and it's not at all polished. When I fell in to the water and died at one point the game glitched and I got stuck in a death animation.

Everything has a freaking diaper on it. The ponies, Gilda the Griffon, the enemies... your death animation is a pony crapping in her diaper, and there's an even dumb RPG battle where you fight Trixie as Twilight Sparkle. The level select screen has a couple of other platform based stages with Twilight Sparkle and a cutscene viewer, both a work in progress.

I'll even post a picture. I'd post more, but the attachment uploads are acting iffy.

Such creativity of a brony. Certainly an original work and not some crap knock-off that tries to be like other games. Seriously, based off that one screenshot and what you say, there are some many things wrong with this game.

I forgot to mention that they take this song from Undertale and placed it in the Twilight victory cutscene. The battle with Trixie is so easy it's ridiculous. Heal, attack twice, heal, attack twice, rinse and repeat.

To see more, my eyes scream at the sight of it all, especially with the diapers. And for the Undertale music used, there are better tracks used but suggesting this guy use a different one doesn't make anything better.

Remember the "Clop for a Cause" fundraiser?
It recently concluded operations and they ended up donating 2 843.40 USD to the charity. The money came from 436 autists, fewer than I would have expected, so good job on cloppers for not being too degenerate I guess. Thankfully the money was donated anonymously to the charity so it won't be tainted by association with cloppers.

At first people thought it was more than one person making all the commissions, because there was a serious amount of stuff.

But then people looked into it and it's one guy. I think someone said he basically spent all his money on it, though I can't remember if it was him or someone else that ended up begging for money so he could commish more...

Oh, that guy. I think he was brought up a long time ago in this thread. He spent something like 15k USD on all of his commissions in total. If you search his name in the tags of "derpibooru", the main MLP art image hosting site, there's something like a thousand unique images he has commissioned. And the slash fanfic he wrote is millions of words long at this point.

This game really is bad in all aspects, and seems like something that should have been made in Flash (in 2007) rather than Unity.
 
I can't get over the fact that this game exists.

I think I'll link it to someone- maybe it'll break their brain?

It sounds insane (because it is) but there are a shit ton of people who have mildly successful Youtube careers over analyzing episodes of My Little Pony such as MLP-Silver-Quill and Digibro (who seems to have stopped thinking too hard about MLP and is currently thinking too hard about various anime)
I haven't watched these videos because I think if I did I'd get terminal second hand autism
