Jesus H, I can't tell which one sucks more. Lolbert party is so divorced from libertarians...

I also have little doubt the founding fathers would think the only use for Palmer is bait.
They would call Palmer a disgrace including Franklin

Oh don't mind me, just lemme get my fucking popcorn...

Here's the Politico article, for reference.
:story: oh this is going to be spicy. Just take this little nugget Alito supposedly brought up in the draft:
“Some such supporters have been motivated by a desire to suppress the size of the African American population,” Alito writes. “It is beyond dispute that Roe has had that demographic effect. A highly disproportionate percentage of aborted fetuses are black.”
The media hysteria and circumlocutions on this when the ruling is finally released is going to be incredible.

A George W. Bush appointee who joined the court in 2006, Alito argues that the 1973 abortion rights ruling was an ill-conceived and deeply flawed decision that invented a right mentioned nowhere in the Constitution and unwisely sought to wrench the contentious issue away from the political branches of government.
The draft contains the type of caustic rhetorical flourishes Alito is known for and that has caused Roberts, his fellow Bush appointee, some discomfort in the past.

At times, Alito’s draft opinion takes an almost mocking tone as it skewers the majority opinion in Roe, written by Justice Harry Blackmun, a Richard Nixon appointee who died in 199

“Roe expressed the ‘feel[ing]’ that the Fourteenth Amendment was the provision that did the work, but its message seemed to be that the abortion right could be found somewhere in the Constitution and that specifying its exact location was not of paramount importance,” Alito write

Alito declares that one of the central tenets of Roe, the “viability” distinction between fetuses not capable of living outside the womb and those which can, “makes no sense

In several passages, he describes doctors and nurses who terminate pregnancies as “abortionists".

Incredibly based holy shit

The time is now. Let the states shut down crotch graveyards. Perfectly fine with GOPe winning 245 seats instead of 250 (260 is an over performance, I hear).

If this goes through, I hear a faggot governor in Colorado just passed the most radical abortion bill. Libtards are welcome!

In the year 2535 when the democrat universe federation has been in charge for the past 300
Excuse me?

I think you meant President Xi Jinping V and the Glorious Sol System Communist Party.

I hate the fucking ChiComs but with how WOKE policies are ruining education and the increasing amount of Alphabet people the US will be lucky to be a vassal state.

I'm curious... do you let the supreme court cancel Roe v Wade to give the D a win in the Fall so they can try and get a Federal law allowing it?

Can there even be a Federal Law forcing states to allow it? I guess they can do it the usual way, no money for any states where it's banned.

Abortion voters already vote heavy Democrat and are heavily motivated. Ergo, they typically vote in every election, even midterms. Working class voters turnout is highly inconsistant and spikes when the working/middle class suffers.

What appeals more to the working class: abortion or being able to buy food and fuel?

The most hilarious and sad thing about the whole Biden family situation is how Beau Biden fucked up Joe and the family's long-term plans.
Between the "useless eaters" and their own useless heirs, the elite must be REALLY banking on that immortality thing happening soon.

Doing that on top of the "groomer" conversation would shift the Overton window further to the right so I hope they do. Yes, by all means, force baby murder into conservative states at gunpoint.

"They're coming for your children. They want to murder them and those that don't get murdered, they want to rape." It's powerful rhetoric and the uniparty GOP can only hold back the tide of populist anger for so long.

iirc from what I've gathered it would be perfectly legit to pass ABORTIONS FOR EVERYBODY in congress and sign it into law if it had backing, moreso if somebody wanted to run ABORTIONS FOR EVERYBODY to an amendment
but afaik the political calculus is the proabortion crew are already voting blue everytime if they're going to vote at all, but there's a lot of people who are at least squeamish about abortions if not generally not cool with them where it could cost in that direction were ABORTIONS FOR EVERYBODY attempting to enact into law/amendment

Alito is usually pretty based. This should have always remained a state issue and it I'm glad it will be going back to being a state issue. This isn't going to do anything for midterms, hardcore abortion advocates always vote Democrat anyways, the midterms are going to be about Biden's(horrific) record and the economy(also horrific), and the Democrats know it.
