Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

show got canceled before even airing, this is what the creators said, I fucking hate americans, lads.

"We had queer characters in loving relationships, dark skinned characters that weren’t tokenized, women with hairy, muscular arms, disabled characters whose only enemy was stairs, and full figured princesses that could battle foes while slurping down pani puri. We created scenes that just didn’t exist anywhere else— women talking about their period while forging weapons, venturing into magical tunnels to explore reincarnation, villains who could be warmed with the perfect cup of chai."

I'd personally like to mention that the creator of this show, was also a writer for PPG 2016...

Thank you Netflix

Edit: I'd also like to mention that him and Jake "Jared Shapiro" Goldman were Co-Executive Producers of this project before it got shelved.

There's also this pic i found a while back that perfectly encapsulates why these two should've never worked in the Cartoon industry.

I knew something was up when someone mentioned the show had "the representation I needed as a kid".

Things must really be going to shit at Netflix if even literal royalty can't keep a series there.

I just stumbled across this by accident. I have no idea what's being said, but the animation is great and the story (for as much as I could comprehend) was enjoyably whimsical.

This was produced by the Russian studio Pilot, part of a series adapting Russian folk tales.

Pilot huh? I think I subbed to them. Hopefully they might release one with English. There wasn't an English subtitle option on the current video *sigh*

The one time netflix was based. Maybe you retards could try watching something other then kids cartoons
These closet pedos still think She-Ra was a success. The only thing it'll be remembered for is that proving lesbian relationships are abusive. Didn't even make it to Netflix's top ten.

I swear its always weird to realize that alot of these "diverse and lgbt inclusive" kids shows aren't even being watched by children but by grown ass adults with developmental isssue's. Still remember going into a government building and seeing the only fat black women in a group of nerdy white guys gush about the new netflix Carmen Sandiego show

Did kids even know about the Netflix She-Ra? the only people I see mention it are grown adults on the internet.
You know, it is really funny seeing adults trying to make animation for kids and failing miserably. I went some time ago at my young cousin birthday party and he and his friends (7 years old) were playing Naruto amongst themselves. Naruto a story that started in 1999, way before they were even born.
This only shows how much they failed at captivating the kids. And we are talking about the age of streaming, it isn't even like these kids had to watch on TV or anything, it is all on netflix with the same kind of shit that is being canned.

Are they still airing Naruto on TV?
