the ruling of roe v wade was built on shaky ground from the very start, which is why conservatives had wanted it reviewed for so long. more like this has been a long time coming and if democrats want unrestricted abortion they will have to pass a law (which is actually extremely unpopular with voters).

The leaked doc specifically says abortion is a state issue, not federal. That alone will sink any Congressional action as dead on arrival when it's challenged immediately by a state.

there's some valid pro-abortion arguments to be made, mostly about its use as a tool to improve public health by preventing deformed and retarded children from being born, and also as a way to stop rape babies from being a thing.
but in practice, a good 99% of the pro-abortion side doesn't give a fuck about such considerations at all, they just want recreational abortion to support their shameless slut lifestyle, and that's just reprehensible.

Here's the thing about those special cases (IE deformed children and/or rape and incest babies)

If those were the only times people got abortions, then almost every doctor would be willing to perform that procedure. There'd be no need to go to a special tax dollar funded political clinic because it would just be treated as a normal procedure.

There's more issues presented by making it a voluntary procedure whereby for any reason you can end the child's life. You now need a special doctor, not because the procedure is hard (ANY OBGYN could perform it) but because most doctors are not willing to murder.
