I honestly don't even think it was that deep or sinister. More likely it was just an obnoxious younger sibling trying to copy/skinwalk the older one to their eternal annoyance. No, he didn't have balls so he didn't have a male puberty. Same reason an animal neutered as a baby will generally not try to mate. A steer is different than an ox, because an ox had puberty and was once a bull. Horses gelded as foals are different than horses gelded as stallions. Dogs and cats neutered as adults will similarly still go through the motions of mating to an extent.
I hate applying knowledge of barnyard animals to humans but that's the way it goes.

Fuck Bowers. It's well documented that for some of these kids, the gender identity issues clear up after puberty. Sometimes even late in puberty. I get that these kids are in a race to get it done early to avoid being a hon, but it's not like life is that much better for someone like Jazz. God, if I was a kid in these troubling times, I'd make damn sure to play in the dirt, play sports, make poop jokes, and get in some fights. There are boogeymen like Bowers and Gallagher out there.

In the nightmare scenario where CPS can take kids away for suspected gender dysphoria if the parents don't go along with it, people will push kids to stay in their gender roles, lest the gender demons strike.

Didn't Jeanette name him? He was around three years old when she started taking him to quacks. I'm sure she tells everyone he picked his own name but I doubt a three year old would pick Jazz. Early test blockers will prevent the voice from dropping and they keep growing (no puberty = no fused growth plates), and won't develop facial hair. They don't want to get "clocked" and want people to treat them like women.
For teenagers they also want to have their parents pay for it instead of having to bust ass working at Starbucks or wait til a tech career is underway before they can shell out tens of thousands of dollars for the surgery.

Thing is, the millionth thing that trans activists are dishonest about, lie about, is the rush to get kids on puberty blockers is really about aesthetics. Get 'em young so they can "pass" later. Stave off the secondary sex characteristics. It's not "life-saving", it's about looks. Despite the fact the ideology also preaches to thousands of wailing hairy adults "passing" really doesn't matter.

Does Jazz pass? Somewhat but as has been well-noted here it's amazing how his male physiology has asserted itself in dozens of ways, despite the blockers, hormones, repeated failed surgeries. And, he ain't gonna get more womanly as he ages.

Ironically Jazz was a slang term for sex prior to shifting to being a type of music.

The answer is no. Shoulders, hands, nose, feet, and fat-distributions. Even the voice is more prepubescent boy than spunky!girl.

I think it depends on how you define "passing" - as you said, nobody would probably scream "that's a man, baby" if they walked past Jazz on street. The issue tends to be when you get up close and start interacting with them. Even if you can't put your finger on exactly what, you know something is off.

I've met some FtMs, who at least passes better as manlets on first sight, but once you start interacting with them the illusion kind of shatters, no matter how much they work out and pube-beard they grow. Our brains are just hard-wired to notice differences in sex.
