Just so others know: it's normal for a former fatty that's lost at least 100 pounds. It's loose skin and fat that won't go away. In this guy's case he could stand to lose more weight, but the loose skin will never go away without incredibly painful and massively scaring surgeries. That no insurance covers, unless you have a history of nasty skin infections.

The funny thing about the whole erasure of the term women and all these arguments about "you can't just say women's rights" is that these are the same people who flipped the fuck out over "all lives matter". It really is the same argument conceptually, isn't it? Trampling a marginalized group's specific struggle to try and include yourself in some egotistical show of identity?

I've never seen one IRL, but in this thread, obviously the VAST majority do not pass. The odd ones that do pass (IMO) in certain photos clearly don't when I look at other photos of them that aren't taken at the perfect angle with specific filters and Photoshop edits.

I wouldn't even blame it solely on their appearance, because the concept of "passing" is fucking ridiculous on its own. A majority of the time it's an unachievable goal.

It honestly makes me feel concerned -- striving so hard to become something you might never truly be. I can't imagine that losing the nerves in your genitals, or medically fucking your body up beyond repair, is worth it whatsoever.
