My pal Mike learned yesterday that on 08 November 2020 a handful of senior IA executives listened to a recording of voices picked up only hours before. One of those voices proclaimed that, "Today I will begin building a secret army in America who won't realize they are my soldiers until long after my leadership teams have taken over their capitols in every major state." That voice was believed to be the voice of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Yesterday my pal Mike reported that Mr. Putin has expanded his hit-list of Russian Oligarchs and their immediate families to include Donald Trump and one of his eldest children.

My pal Mike reports that, apparently, Mr. Putin has decided that a dead Donald Trump and his daughter would advance his power in the United States faster and more efficiently than his now abandoned hope that Mr. Trump would be re-instated as President or win the presidency again in 2024.

A murdered Donald Trump and daughter, according to my pal Mike's over-hearing of conversations, would inspire a violent, nationwide internal civil war among both the US citizenry and military. Mr. Putin desires American citizens to quickly launch a massive revolution upon hearing about the murder of Donald Trump and his daughter which will be attributed to high-ranking Democrats. And in order to increase uncontrollable violence by pro-Trump revenge-seekers, an element of African-American participation in the murders will be added.

Military personnel who supported Trump are expected to initiate widespread sabotage operations to disable American military leadership from restoring local government order on American streets, or providing military assistance to foreign nations.

My pal Mike reports that it was Mr. Putin's voice who also stated that not since the Russian counter-revolution was finally put down after the murders of every member or possible successor of the Romanov family and many of their supporters outside Russia ordered by Lenin and Stalin, was such a successful plan ingeniously conceived.

My pal Mike reports that Mr. Putin desires to infiltrate the Trump security team first by motivating Mr. Trump to request that no African-Americans serve in any government or private personal or family protection detail. This mandate will be later used, as used by former President Woodrow Wilson, to system-wide eliminate Blacks from serving in any significant federal capacity, thereby preventing any Black from achieving any senior service-level position. And by installing white-only positions of authority will enable pre-prepared Russian agents to infiltrate US and State government offices and migrate into leadership positions.

My pal Mike reports that sluggish American follow-up on the 08 November 2020 recordings led to the assassinations of several senior Russian oligarchs and their immediate family members, but that over the past week US intelligence officials have advised potential Putin victims to a) seek refuge and racially multi-layer their protection personnel, and b) separate themselves from their immediate family inheritors. Both Donald Trump and his daughter have been advised to distance their proximity on as many occasions as possible. My pal Mike reports Mr. Putin wants the Trump sons to go unharmed as they will be needed to lead and inspire his US revolution.

I would believe this narrative if Ukraine or NATO were innocent actors in all of this or that conflicts can end by the agressor by pulling away from all of the strategic territories and calling it a day.

But NATO is not a innocent actor, they want an increasingly escalating forever war that will cost the lives of hundreds of thousands (a la oceania vs East asia) and NATO's likely maximalist goals is to weaken Russia to a husk of it's former self or bring about a regime change.

They probably *didn't* want war at all to begin with, but now that they know Russia won't back down I'm not naive enough to doubt that they want it to be prolonged. However, wouldn't this be obvious considering the alternatives would be:

1) Russia totally sweeping Ukraine, and posing a massive threat to other NATO nations?
2) NATO nations putting troops into combat, further escalating it into an actual WW3?

That's pretty much what will happen in every country if an actual war for existence starts. Right or wrong, if you undermine the country in the darkest hour you can expect a bullet to the head by the people who have everything to lose.

How is it disingenuous? Not sure on the figures for Ukraine, but my own country went from <10% Russian in the 1930s to over 1/3rd Russian in the 1980s (and around 1/4 Russian nowadays). This is well within living memory. Not that it's fair to resent some Russian kid born in 2000 for the Soviet era relocation policy that brought his parents/grandparents here, but you can't expect people to adjust to such rapid demographic change without any friction.

Of course, there's no way to 'undo' this at this point, at least not without causing much more damage, and countries need to adapt to the situation and help Russians integrate to their society - which many of the former Soviet republics have admittedly been doing a shit job at over the past 30 years. But Russia itself has certainly not been helping matters in the slightest. They orchestrated this mass migration, then after the collapse of the USSR turned around and pulled the "mUh opReSseD eThNIc MinOriTy" card, without any attempts on their part to defuse tensions - to the contrary, hampering efforts at integration by constant fearmongering about fascism and russophobia and sowing distrust against locals among the Russian-speaking population.

I remember talking to Balts complaining about Russians in the late 90's, and fantasising about expelling them all and taking back grampa's dacha (admittedly based, but they were never gonna actually do it so it was counterproductive to stay mad at the Rus)

Idk why they've been so shit at integrating Russian transplants. They've had 30 years - pretty sure you could sweet talk a huge chunk of Ivans and Ludmillas over to your side if you had 30 years in control of the government and media and, y'know, actually wanted to. But that takes a certain amount of maturity and patience and empathy, Eastern Euros seem to prefer REEEing at their fellow Slavs and coming up with dumb and self-defeating schemes to try to make their language and alphabet illegal instead. Nothing makes a group close ranks like the feeling they're being persecuted.

Like the wacky shit Ukranians have been doing for the last several years. Most ethnic Russians would probably be quite happy to Westernize, as long as they didn't feel like it was being forced on them by people who hate them and want to burn them alive for being Russian. Seems like this war would be a lot more unpopular in Russia, and maybe even seriously threaten Putin's regime, if the West hadn't immediately made it obvious they hate everything Russian, aim to destroy their economy, and actively want to kill their sons, fathers and brothers.

If Ukraine had folded over and surrendered on day one, this would be true. I don't know how you can believe its true now. Or that it will be true in the future. Guess we shall see.

My guess is that Ukraine is in the same place South Vietnam was when we pulled out. Namely the Vietnamese had an army but couldn't pay them. Once the US stopped giving money to them the whole thing collapsed.

Ukraine is more than likely in a similar spot. Hence why Zelensky claims 7 billion a month and the US decided "33 Billion broski". The US has completely taken over Ukrainian governmental functions for this war effort and will keep sending Ukrainians to their deaths.

And Russia is setting up to turn the war into a meat grinder.

Peskov and other government officials keep repeating there won't be a full-scale mobilization (i. e. sending every male under age 50 to the recruiting station), but the rumors are becoming more prevalent with each passing day. Everybody has a colleague whose friend works in a business that received some orders to provide a list of employees for potential mobilization, etc.

And they already lied about having no plans to attack Ukraine not too long ago.

The current government continuing the war against Russia is the only thing that is threatening the existence of Ukraine right now. Every week that the war continues is more women and children putting down roots in western countries. The demographic loss is irreversible and there is no victory condition against the Russia Army that will bring it back.

Even worse, any victory over the Russians the Ukrainian government will have to address this demographic crisis, their answer will be wide scale replacement immigration mainly from Middle East and Africa. Mostly men who will displace ethnic Ukranian men, most of whom will be disabled veterans surviving on meager pensions. The rest will be intact families, an insignificant amount will be single women.

But this is far and away for now, because the Ukranian government appears to be coerced into refusing any negotiated peace unless they recapture Crimea, something that is simply not anywhere close to living in reality. So the war will continue and Ukraine will continue to bleed women and their younger demographics. They will have a youth population similar to the size of Iceland when this war is finalized.

Whether you like it or not, negotiating (or even collaborating) with the Russians is the only thing that could possibly save the existence of Ukraine. The west is not exactly into the whole “preservation of nation-states”

Keep in mind they have to prepare for a military conflict escalating and maybe a surprise invasion from the Baltics, or from China, or a nuclear escalation, or any number of other wild contingencies that would require full-scale mobilization. They would be negligent to not have preparations in place considering the escalatory rhetoric in the US right now

Man I could sperg about this but I don't want to derail the thread any more than I already have. The short of it is that any effective solution would likely
1) be unpopular in the short term
2) take longer than 1 election cycle to bear fruit
