He’s been in the “endgame” of Elden Ring for at least 3 weeks now. I just want it to end.

He just said that he has a cup of coffee around dinner time. Might be the reason why he's up at 2 am tweeting nonsense

He calls his inter-stream meal “dinner” (around 4PM in his time zone). This is despite the fact that it’s the second meal, about 6 hours after he gets up.

He plays all sorts of random indie crap all the way to its conclusion so I don't know what you mean here. He consciously avoids anything labeled "sandbox", "puzzle" or "strategy".

By his own admission he has ignored indie games because they are not highly publicized. It's only when they became free with game pass did he actually start looking at them in the slightest. His dismissal of Hollow Knight today shows how little he knows about the indie scene.

If he were solely opposed to indie games he wouldn't have picked up and played Hades all the way to the end. It being free on gamepass makes no difference, as a $20 barrier to entry is nothing.

this is funny, DSP and Doc are at the same part of the game. They're streaming at the same time.

Doc is using BB and get this, he's actually using taker's flame and not face tanking everything learning the boss patterns and just generally more fun to watch. OH! and 50+ levels under DSP.

Doc started this area well after DSP and is currently fighting Maliketh Just beat Maliketh, DSP is meandering about.
Doc is ofc being Doc about the game which is far more entertaining than DSP whining and being an overall bitch about the game.

EDIT - he tried to use the taker's flame weapon art, he's legit retarded. Legit retarded. Just stood there and ate every hit trying to get takers' flame off. Like he went into tism pattern mode and kept doing it, his mom HAD to be overbearing or DSP would have permanent residence in the burn ward.

Mostly due to his sheer ignorance regarding any game not put out by a major publisher.

The indie games he plays are usually things he is wholly ignorant of that were suggested as viewers choice or they were part of his shit tastic game pass nights. He also hasn't finished many of those games.

If he was smart he'd be playing the popular indie games WHILE they are growing popular and not AFTER the algorithm stops pushing them to the top months later. People like Northernlion, ludwig, Spiffing Brit etc. are playing games like Super Auto Pets, Backpack Hero, Peglin, Vampire Survivors, Mon Bazou and their numbers are huge on those streams. Seems like DSP only gets into games after they have already blown up and arent trending anymore. I watch a few lesser knwon streamers who have gone from a couple thousand viewers to over a million just this year, from playing mostly indie games. They seem to get a massive push on youtube. Its the only reason ive found a few new people to watch. He always gets into shit after its peaked.

I will say, it will be difficult for Phil to spam jump attacks on Maliketh, considering he spends most of the fight spinning in the air firing lasers at you. He’s also more aggressive than Malenia with a lot more poise. It’s definitely possible he could generate a good amount of salt.

On another note, this makes Malenia the boss he’s died to the most in any Fromsoft game, doesn’t it? Gundyr had 65 deaths I think, Pontiff had 40+. I’m not sure how many times he died to Ludwig, but I feel like it has to be less than Malenia at this point

It took Phil 9 hits to beat one of the toughest endgame bosses, if anyone not watching is wondering how overlevelled he is by now.

Another example that Phil doesn't understand the concept of triumphing over something difficult without cheesing.

If Phil was offered as a young boy to compete in a 100 meter dash in the Special Olympics with his competition being literal wheelchairs, he'd take it and would act like he just won against Olympic athletes you see on television.


Sad thing is, he would still lose.

Doc did dodge though when the tree sentinel came into melee range but kept getting hit by the Kathren Fireball, it almost seemed like it didn't register to phil he was getting stuffed then phil brushes it off as he was just messing around.

He's mad because he knows the night streams have dried up. $100 day streams simply aren't enough anymore. He was averaging $205 in tips every day last year but it's likely he'll only make $50 at most on tonight's stream, bringing his total for today to $150. A 25% pay cut (and dropping) is a cause for concern.

It's a fairly consistent pattern as well: good day stream, bad night stream for 3-4 days in a row followed by a panic and begcon 1, then he gets saved by one of the dents for one night stream, rinse and repeat.
