There's probably going to be an episode about drinking or abortion and they need an expert on the field.
In all honesty, she's is most likely a live logger. All she has to do is listen to what's said, label the reel, then tell the editors what is what. It's something she most likely has 10+ years of experience in and it's all grunt work. Just be organized and you can't really fail. However, she will find a way to fail and we might see new drama.

I’d say Lindsay is saying it’s upwards. Maybe that’s why she hasn’t been on Twitter or YouTube, and it’ll give her a reason to boast about coming back once she’s out of the contract and free to talk about it.

If she's getting paid a decent enough amount it's easy to see that she'd overlook the whole thing. Look standards are great if you can afford them but if it means lowering yourself so you can pay your bills and keep yourself in boxed wine and whatever else she's drinking then I'm sure she's willing to prostitute herself to do so.
I mean it can't be worse than her C'Thulhu fanfiction.
Besides she can play it as her moving up in the industry.

A job's a job, although those are usually good entry-level positions to break in. Not too many 40 year olds staring at hours of Kardashian tape and timecodes - also it's a streaming show so the pay is probably bad. Both the most responsible thing for her to do and the funniest.

In my very brief flurry with reality TV, there was someone fluttering around making notes of almost everything that happened, and grabbing people to give cues to, to "develop" stories they think would make the episodes better.
I can't really see Lindsay being spontaneous and charismatic enough to be able to simulateously turn what's happening into ideas, and then actually give people instructions. Like someone said upthread, she was probably making notes of events and matching them to camera reels (or SD cards more likely)

She doesn't care because she's in a blue state and so are all of her mal-pals. That's the hilarious thing about RvW is that all it would do is have states decide what is allowed and that already sort of happened in Texas, so to remove it is to have literally nothing happen or than the fake idea of power over states by the federal government.
I don't have faith in Lindsay understanding law because we can all see her repeating the word gay over the don't say gay bill that didn't have the word gay in any of its writing, BUT I can still expect her to be smart enough to know the difference between a state and the federal government.
Maybe I give her too much credit, but she's one of those people who gets about 75% of the info right and the other 25% is usually critical info that will make her look like a mouth breathing boomer or galaxy brain redditor who's screeching but has the smirk mask over the tear-stained face.

I can only think back to 2012/2013 and how Lindsay at a con panel could easily be her and her Chez Apocalypse buddies. Oh what could have been.
Also, seeing as how Lindsay has a book panel makes me think we can easily see this be the place where she announces her third book.
