I assume the person that did this used false copyright strikes ,if Phil did something similar instead of an anonymous person on the internet he would be sued, the reason that would happen to Phil and not to the dented fan doing this is because fucking with Phil legally is worth the money while doing the same to a dent is not (if it's even possible to do it to the dent since you can do it by abusing the system as an anonymous person).

DSP knows, at least at this point, to not piss off the trolls and fuck with them. He knows he could take down entire channels, but that more will be created in their place, and the trolls would be vengeful and pissed. He declared war on the "kiwifarts" and shortly got his bank statements leaked. He knows to mind his own business and take the punches.

Taking down troll channels will also hurt him, because if it wasn't for them, nobody would give a fuck about DSP. They help hype up his events, there are like 4-5 restreams whenever he's doing something 'special', they even manage to improve his production value, given that the restreams have better designs 9 times out of 10. They make him bearable, sometimes even interesting. Same applies for the twitter troll crowd.

Without those people he's homeless in under a year. I don't judge, nor care why they're doing this, whether to keep the trashfire going and get their lols, monetary interest, or they straight up want to see him gone but don't understand that they're keeping him relevant. And naturally I don't expect all of them to fall into one or two of these categories, as I realize they (just as "we") are individuals and I can't expect them to have a hive-mind

Regardless, and needless to say, I believe they should be left to do what they do for whatever reason they do it, even hypocrite assholes like supercrazy, who I've expressed my disdain for in the A-log thread.

Correct, as I've always said. It's like a minute of clicking on Youtube and they would have killed all of the channels that restream or copy his videos for copyright. Youtube even collects all these videos for your convenience and remind you if you'd like to report them.

My pet theory on why so many cows/internet personas are from this decade is that they got first access to gaming and internet technology. Not old enough to fumble it like boomers, not young enough to be in a buyers market for an audience. Most of them were playing the NES and most of them got onto YouTube and similar sites at the beginning to grow and audience. Where they went from that varied, you had guys like Keem who branched out from trolling in COD lobbies and guys like DSP who coasted on mediocrity.

Given cows generally have massive egos as well as a host of other mental issues diagnosed or undiagnosed it's no surprise they were part of this generation.
