@Su-27 Flanker-B I don't think there has been a day missiles didn't strike Ukrainian military objects. And even those days when missiles weren't flying had something to do with sham peace talks.

NATO is combing the Black Sea with ELINT aircraft and probably satellite surveillance, and feeding that info directly to the Ukies. Idk what countermeasures the Russians can realistically take tho, there's a good chance they might lose more ships even if they're being as careful as they ought to be.

This mobilization will be a massive shitshow.
- Russia struggles to supply its forces right now. Imagine if they're doubled. Our military logistics are straight from the 40s, and truck supply is also a finite thing. Plus, nobody really wants to drive trucks (being unarmed and unarmored sitting duck isn't fun), so sabotage is expected.
- There's not enough officers to train and lead newly created units. To get a glimpse, read some comments from people who volunteered and were sent to training: "Nobody was watching over us. I could leave with my and squadmates' AKs any time, nobody would even notice" or "we had to share and watch UA training videos bc most of our officers didn't gave a single fuck about preparing us for war".
- First group of reserve is recently discharged conscripts. They're obviously the youngest eligible generation. And the willingness to go to war is also lowest among the youngest (18-26), even in remote regions (where it's traditionally higher, bc poverty and dysgenics). Among all ages, it's less than 50% in every region except Primorsky Federal District. What a great idea - give those people guns and send them to fight an imperialist war, it had never backfired before.
- There's not enough equipment. Once again, I refer to people like this (t.me/politolog_zapasa) who volunteered to join the Army. His squad was given SSh-60 (Soviet-era steel helmet, and not even its later modification SSh-6
helmet and old body armor (dated 2000-2005) with some "used" plates. And that's the most basic thing, imagine trying to equip tens of thousands of mobilized with NVGs or radios (can Baofeng imports cover the demand?).

Russian Black Sea Fleet is basically fucked no matter what. Either they operate in support of other units the way they were meant to, and Western intel tees them up for the Ukies. Alternatively they sit a safe distance off the coast, become essentially useless except as a launch platform for small numbers of Kalibrs, and their other forces get fucked in their abscence (as happened with those patrol boats and the stuff on Snake Island)
