When you're looking at your patient list in the emergency department the name will be flagged as a bounceback if a patient has <30 days since last visit. I'm sure they know.

Interesting that they're going for a section here. The Pitocin must not be working 'cause I wouldn't do a non-emergent section on a...let's see...morbidly obese smoker with wildly uncontrolled diabetes.

I know its not the same as a nurse but when I worked the phones as customer service for a major phone company we kept detailed notes on each call, lol including wtf was said and how they acted.

I loved the reps who made sure to leave very detailed notes on accounts, makes the next call from the asshole client so much easier.

Remember the big scandal approximately 10-12 years ago because pharmacists at Walgreens were caught noting patient’s records with things like “huge bitch?” I don’t see the fucking issue. I think they were doing all the other pharmacists and techs a huge service.

I don’t see a problem with that lol. The only problem is the huge bitch patient. One place I worked at would note “red carpet client” if the client was a giant entitled bitch. It is super helpful to know what you’re getting into beforehand. Just my opinion though.

No but I had a dude call in and ask me 100 times if there was any way his wife could see his messages on bills or through the company. Basically asshole was cheating and wanted to make sure his poor wife couldnt log into their account and view that info. Sadly I had to tell him she cant. But I didnt tell him what he didn't ask, shed see any call numbers/times/length of convo.

I'll never understand why parents do this to a very young child. He doesnt understand and imo does not need to see that. Luckily kids are pretty resilient and wont think much of it. I think when he held her she was probably still alive. She lived a bit over an hour.

I cant imagine the emotional turmoil of having given birth and going home with no baby. Hormones raging.
