That's how I feel. I didn't come here for a day or two and the page count grew like a dozen pages. Last week a bunch of articles popped up over MTG and Lauren Boebert having a slap fight after MTG "attended a white supremacist conference" (none of the articles name drop Nick or AF) and I don't think it was even mentioned that two of the most far right leaning members of Congress are fighting over how unoptical Nick is because so much other stuff was going on. Honestly, Nick is right that women should not hold major positions of political power, but not for the reasons he thinks. It's not that women are specially evil, it's that women are the more sociable and submissive of the two genders, and they're more likely to feed their children to Moloch because the man on the TV told them to. There's a reason why for most of history men were the decision makers and women were the glue that held society together. It's so frustrating that Nick fails to see this important role for women, and if he was just a little smarter he'd probably get it. It's infuriating that he's just so close to getting it, but he fumbles right before the goal line.

I went to school in a conservative area, and I've lost count of the women I went to school with did a heel turn after 2011 when liberalism became more mainstream. Most of the populace will simply follow the lead of whoever sets the tone for what is trendy, important, and (declared) morally good. Most people are herd animals, driven by conformity, and they feel safe and comfortable when they know they are imitating "everyone else".

You just need to be the one they obey. And that is something Nick and people like him either don't get, or don't actually put into practice.
