Kim's main priority has always been herself. The coming days are almost certainly going to be her talking about pain from the surgery, more than any real frustration or grief over losing the mutant. Like Sammie, Kim doesn't care about kids or babies. Kim cares about getting attention. She'll roll those horrible photos of that poor thing that hopefully didn't suffer when she wants a bunch of easy likes, but dogbaby is going to end up like bagbaby... a prop for her ego and an easy route for pity and ass pats.

Of the two parents, I suspect Dalton will be the only one who has real grief. It's probably just as well he's incarcerated and has people watching him. He's proven time after that that he's not capable of dealing with his emotions.

I think it’s just bad luck/genetics. Apparently this is extremely rare, found This with some information.

Given her history of miscarriage and whatnot, it’s a shame doctors can’t try to talk her into sterilization because she very clearly produces children with issues.

Oh my goodness. This would be my worst nightmare. I can't help but feel a wrenching pang in my chest when I see those pictures.

I feel so angry that she essentially killed that baby with negligence, both of the babies. Yeah, there probably were factors beyond anyone's control, but we saw how little effort she made to keep herself healthy. She had such an empty and placid expression throughout all of this, like she's an animal who's too dumb to value life.

Poor girl. You're in a better place now — some place better than bumfuck Arkansas.

God damn it. I'm not a mother but those photos genuinely put a lump in my throat. It's a strange feeling - sadness at the sight of a deformed but still recognisably human baby, but relief that the poor little bugger died without knowing pain (hopefully) and without having to experience fuck-knows-what kind of life with Kim. You made it out ahead, sweetpea.

Like you lot, I'm also curious to see how this is going to affect Kim going forward - if she feels any loss at all, or if she quickly forgets, or what

Nah, there's no renal agenesis or polydactyly.

Maybe god does exist after all and spared the baby from further pain, negligence and suffering which would all be caused by having Kim as a mother. To be honest, I am glad it died because she would have lived a very horrible life.

These pictures are horrifying and fascinating at the same time. Though we will never get to know what kind of syndrome the baby had, even if I’d really like to know lol.
Are there any other possibilities what the baby could have had? It sure must have been caused by a wild combination of shit genetics, Kim’s uncontrolled high diabetes, her constant smoking and vaping and whatnot.
