I'm sure this has been asked and answered before but why the fuck does history tube attract so many worthless commentators more worried about shilling their flavor of the month hot takes and not actual historical discussion, anyone with half a brain can tell that las vegas was a failure , intentional or not , on both the LVMP and Three letter side of things , how is Mr teamwerk a "bigot" for not trusting the official story , which doesn't state much more than "it happened"?

1. Reactionarism, as the word implies, is a reaction to something. Dems have prolonged the pandemic by keeping it an issue and turning science into a religion that can't be modified or open to debate, and inflating numbers to justify a forever war on fighting COVID. Maybe they should have agreed to close the borders back in January 2020 and not virtue signal "Hug an asian"

3. No disenfranchisement, just a course correction from governors being able to force voting acts without legislative approval, mail in votes not needing verification or signatures, people in mental wards voting, my great-great-granduncle voting 3 times in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and deciding a winner from votes found a week after the election ends.

4. I bet this Lord Cypher dude is absolutely fine with what happened with Ruby Ridge, or at WACO, or when feds groom mentally impeded individuals to commit terror acts "Because the other side is conspiracism and falsehoods." The idea that the US is above other countries because its "democracy" is so annoying. No system is perfect, any system has the capacity of going off the deep end. Conservativism brought ISIS, Socialism brought Cambodia, liberalism brought The Committee of Public Safety. Why is DeMoCrAcY immune to being dishonest and tyrannical when other ideologies are just as capable of being bad?

He did talk about a crisis of loneliness in a vid he made about zoomers, so the odds of this being fake are only 99%, keeping in mind that he also observed in a different vid (as a surprise to no-one) that his audience is overwhelmingly male.

Combined you get a group who don't mesh well with the rest of society. Those who culturally assimilate don't have these issues, look at Kaifeng Jews.

Also a lot of modern Anti-Semitism comes to connections to Marxism and modern Globohomo. Almost every prominent Marxist before Stalin purged the entire Comintern was of Jewish ethnicity. However that brings back to their upbringing having less emphasis of redemption, spiritual salvation, and amaterialism compared to something like Christianity. Their culture brought a dead end of them being economically on top with no further goals. It leads to them seeking salvation out of self-hatred, which is why so many Marxists were of Jewish ethnicity when Marxism was so hostile to Judaism and even (Atheist) Jewish Communists like Lenin and Trotsky were having Jewish shopowners thrown as cannon-fodder, synagogues burned, and rabbis lynched. I don't want to give Mussolini or Strasser any credit, but they were correct that this was a culture and class issue, not some racial pseudoscience Hitler smoked up.

As for modern globohomo, no explanation or excuse beyond a horrifically contradictory fusion of narcissism and self-hatred from the richest at the top. I doubt they would care if every other Jew died if they could get more power.

I have a soft spot for Rudy; he has that slightly autistic book-smart attitude and I can see him going into a 2 hour tangent about how a French King’s choice of clothing lead to some war in the HRE (it’s a kind of wholesome sperging I like seeing in the history sphere). However, he really is becoming a naïve Dunning-Kruger stereotype (I think somebody up thread mentioned that). He has a charm in how his videos feel amateurish, but he’s trying to push into social commentary — an already crowded field. I sympathize with his views but if he stops being a small unknown channel and gets noticed by the big names and their rabid fans, Rudy is going crumble like tissue paper. It’s like watching a (somewhat cocky) sheep wandering towards a cliff with wolves at the bottom.

As for his race comments/contradictions, he is still really young and has idealist beliefs he’s trying to force data into. It might be him attempting to keep YouTube happy too, but in any case, I think these contradictions will reach a boiling point.

I would hate to see Rudy become a lolcow before Cynical Historian or Emperor Tigerstar, but who knows at this point.

Feels jarring because a year ago he made several videos where he (correctly) attacked moral and scientific relativism and already explained why anti-semitism existed. He even listed similar cases of persecution towards Irish, Armenians, Russian Kulaks, etc. Feels like he is pulling back and cucking for no reason.

I have a friend who teaches history at a college (no joke) and from his stories... this is pretty much exactly how it is in college level history departments too.
