I don't even care about that aspect of it anyone, what always gets me is how shitty they look. Take the one she posted, for example; Hello Kitty everywhere, biblical angel, random words that are placed wherever, just a cross for some fucking reason. Listen, I don't know what kind of Hello Kitty you were watching, but I'm pretty fucking sure she's supposed to be a pretty pink kitten who loves playing with her friends, not a representation of your Bipolar disorder. Traumacore lives off unprofessional, shitty design. Take a stock photo of a typical girl's room, slap some Sanrio characters and chubby baby angels on it, write some edgy bullshit, run a grain filter over it. The Sanrio characters and the angels serve the same purpose: they represent childlike innocence, and the alterations made to them and the juxtaposition with drugs and edgy writing is supposed to mean innocence lost. And boom, that's the entire theme of traumacore. There really is nothing more to it. It isn't even visually appealing, and it is not supposed to be: It's a mental health equivalent of showing off a horrid wound for attention, even if that wound is fake.

Aesthetics in general seem like storebought personalities substituting for when you don't have one of your own, but some of them are genuinely interesting and actually nice to look at. Traumacore isn't.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Nothing gets me MATI like going from Deborah Ramos Reyes' thread (mid 20s, severe ED, severe mental illness, significantly fewer treatment opportunities in her country, etc) to Luna's. As @Carbunkle said, she pissed away so many life changing opportunities that could save other peoples' lives.

I work in the mental health field and (might be redundant, sorry) it became very difficult for people to get into outpatient therapy groups during the pandemic. Group sessions are a slightly more economical way to get therapy for some who can't afford individual sessions, and really great for people who need to socialize with people outside of whatever fucked up dynamics they're entangled in. If Luna could take anything seriously, she would benefit. Obviously that ship sailed.

At least the big roller curls and dyed hair suit her an iota more than the fried blonde. Maybe Luna or Lurch could "find" some Olaplex at the local Ulta? Hint hint, gorl!
