Been involved in playing games professionally for well over 10 years, still doesn’t understand that if you buy a game digitally, you don’t really own it.

How even his most dedicated fans listen to his “podcast” is beyond me, even with a restreamer this shit is brutal to listen to. Guy doesn’t have a clue about anything.

Phil really is taking the Cole's Notes version when he's trying to describe "news" for this podcast. Spending five minutes talking about Fortnite speculating about why the game was offline or some shit. All to tie this into the fact that Xbox Game Pass was offline yesterday.

This has to be against the Geneva Convention when it comes to torture.

I love how he fails to understand contract laws and terms of service after all this time. Every company he ever talks about fucking him is always protected from the sort of shit he's spewing out about the legal system simply because he agreed to the terms and service. But dood that's illegal.

Phil these companies have legal teams that write up a plethora of text and make you agree to it before you use their services. Most all of em these days. That's a contract. You signed it by hitting accept. You don't have any recourse. They don't have to worry about litigation. You already signed away your right to an recourse. That's what the terms of service is. There's no law to come down on them. They protect themselves from that before it even gets to this point. 10+ years on the fucking internet and you still don't understand the fucking legally binding meme that is terms and services.

What a shocker!

I personally find the whole promoting yourself as an "ally" to be very fake and stupid.

If people throw a stink about you not talking about it then that's their problem, but Phil could just have easily said "I said that in poor taste."

This whole playing both sides for brownie points never works, and eventually ends in people calling you a "poser" which he is!
