Have any of you seen the Wild and Wonderful Whites of Weat Virginia? Reminds me of the individuals in the Sammieverse.

I love that documentary. They are very similar to the Sammieverse but even though they're all also giant pieces of shit, they're still at least a little more likable. Their houses are pretty gross but I dont remember them being as bad as Kim's and the kids were better taken care of and weren't born with a ton of health problems. The Sammieverse really is like a worse, non-related version of that family.

I'm sad for the baby, but also relieved. Because Kim would have NEVER given her daughter those things.

Her first words would likely have been swears, her first steps would have been on puppy pissed subflooring, her first birthday would have been a walmart cake bought on foodstamps, her first day of school outfit would have been a stained pajama top rejected from goodwill, and pants pulled over an already soiled pull-up because no one bothered to potty train her. Her first heartbreak would have come with bruises and a positive pregnancy test.

The kindest thing Kim could ever do to her living children would be to give them away. But she's too selfish for that, so God was merciful and took them. I just wish he would find some way to take Aiden to a new family.

Some hospitals have a special cooling bed for stillborn babies. It helps slow decomposition and allows the parents time with the baby's body if they need it.

That's actually really neat that they have that available.

24 hours isn't a big deal as long as the body's kept cool. Up until very recently, people kept the bodies at home.

I'm trying to give Kim the benefit of the doubt, and imagining her as a grieving mother. She just had a major abdominal surgery to cut two children out of her body, one who was already dead and one who only lived an hour. Whereas other mothers see their children for the rest of their lives, she just had one short hour with this little one's heartbeat close to hers. Then her lifeless body, the only thing left, lying next to her for a single, short day. A precious handful of photos, footprints. She'll never get more than that. No pictures of her first steps, first birthday. No first words, no first day of school outfits, no comforting her after her first heartbreak.

Maybe she's not sad, but I'm sad for her.

She does not give a shit about those things for her current living son. She would not have for any others.

Yeah the deformed baby seal is more, er, 'marketable' than the decomposing cat vomit looking thing. I'm sure even Kim's tiny brain recognizes that on some level. It also probably disintegrated soon after they got it out, seal baby's corpse is at least much fresher and bigger (thus slower to decompose).

Yeah, it was rehab which made me sad for reasons I wont PL about but I'll just say I've seen that same situation a lot. He was a cute kid, and I agree with you that he reminds me of Aidean. (though somehow cleaner and healthier) Posts about Aidean always make me really sad, he does have a giant head but he's still adorable and deserves so much better.
