I was shocked about it but then again, same chick who posted her miscarried fetus in a plastic bag. The bar is low for her.

I will say that I really was not expecting the surviving twin to be as deformed as she was. I know the ultrasound pictures weren’t promising and we knew the babby had non functioning kidneys but I was expecting something pretty average looking. Looking back, the baby looked like the ultrasound photos completely. I wonder if she had pictures that included the leg (s?) and never posted them because she knew they were not normal.

I know right? It would be interesting to read her medical records. I can see her getting pregnant again and avoiding prenatal care because she knows MFM would be very direct with her about what a bad idea it was.

What’s really shitty is that Dalton gets out in July, by that point she will be recovered enough for sex and probably close to being fertile again. Ugh.

We'll probably never know for sure what was wrong with seal babby, but as a non-expert, I feel pretty good about my earlier guess of VACTERL. Also found some articles about sirenomelia (mermaid babby) occurring with VACTERL (1, 2).

Someone farther up-thread commented it was interesting how much the posts about novels and movies contrast with the shenanigans of the Sammiverse, and that finding a group of people who appreciate literature and documentaries in a thread such as this was sort of charming.

Actually, this thread sincerely calls out for this kind of balance and counterpoint, something that provides much-needed relief from the unrelenting tragedies (looking at you-know-who...fucking Kim.)

Many of the suggestions for reads and views have lent a genuine insight into bitterly authentic lives lived in industrial ghost towns, and villages that have long lost their economic base. Accounts of families locked in generational poverty, survivors of cyclical abuse, deprivation, desperation, and pain.

And, on the other hand, some of the advised works have been joyful, triumphant, exuberant rollercoasters of downright riotous, rollicking fun.

If you search my posts I have all that posted. But the TL;DR version is the charge is felony terroristic threatening, from one of the times he attacked Kim in 2020ish. He accepted a plea deal last year, and completely blew every term of his probation so they reopened the case.

Agreed, but terroristic threatening is very different from actual terrorism. Terroristic threatening is just being real angry and loud and giving someone reason to believe you're about to fuck them up seven ways to Sunday, basically. However, the justice system also loves throwing the book at folks with a dozen plus FTAs and a history of domestic violence. Not to mention poor, stupid and crazy. Dude's pretty well fucked with arkansas' finest public defenders...I'm sure their caseloads are only in the hundreds, they'll have plenty of time and care to dedicate to a retard who can barely write his own name let alone grasp courtroom proceedings.

Kim’s reaction to this admittedly made me angry enough that I had goosebumps for a minute, even in the pictures where it looks like she was probably crying, she’s still posing for the camera as far as her face and body language.

And dragging Aiden into this is sick.
Dragging both of the deformed babies into this is sick in the first place.

That baby was throughly incompatible with life and still lived for one tortured hour.
