Anyways, I understand what you're saying, but that's what I'm saying is that early precursors for the behavioral patterns of homosexuality might alter that relationship. It certainly isn't scientific, all I know is the number of older people who've brought up interacting with fairly little kids who they could clearly tell were gay at that point, before the point in which a relationship with their parents could've significantly altered their sexual orientation. They'd adapt to the behavior of screwing women, but that doesn't mean they'll enjoy it. It's not like homos don't wind up with kids, they'll mechanically go through the actions, but that doesn't mean they're conditioned out of homosexual attraction. If you literally mean "can you force a gay guy to have sex with women" then sure, but you could force straight guys to fuck dudes if you held a gun to their head, that doesn't mean they're gay now.

I'm not saying that can't happen, but that's not what my comment or the discussion is about. We're specifically talking about whether something can make you gay, as in alter your orientation and I really think trauma can do that. Trauma is a predictor for soooo much sexual behaviour later in life, so that's one way it can happen. There are things happening way before kids can even vocalise that might affect orientation. It's not enough for parents to look at a five year old and think he's gay because he's wearing a dress. That's a learned behaviour, same as speaking with a gay lisp. I'm talking more in the realm of overprotective mothers, competing with the father figure, lack of boundaries etc. also I know for a fact that one can at least turn from completely hetero to homo, so why not the other way around?
See this is why it's a shame we've abandoned Freudian principles entirely because even though he was off-base on lots of things, he had the right way of thinking, but is now dismissed because of some pissed off broads.
I've been close friends with way too many gays and now I avoid them (mostly because they are crazy troon lovers, but also because they are all very fucking immature and have unresolved complexities that is a pain to put up with).
If you adapt to something hard enough, you can enjoy it. Like eating certain foods. It's a matter of perspective and I never said it was easy or worth it, but it can be done. I think a major issue here is that "gay" is a pretty broad term. There's a big difference between the gross fucking creeps talking about how much they want to take it in the ass from a line of 20 dudes in some dingy leather club vs. the ones sitting around watching reruns of Downton Abbey and crying because they can't find a boyfriend. In some cases it seems more like an actual sexual orientation, in others it seems like a disgusting fucking fetish.

Idk, all I know is they don't give me trouble personally so I don't worry that much about the specifics.
