Mutter Museum is pretty cool if you have a chance to go to it. They have a whole collection of fetal anomalies that fits right into this thread.

He's not hopeless, and he didn't lose his faith, although he's certainly questioned it. I thought that "want to be your friend" thing was certainly insulting, however. The host obviously follows a script.
It sounds like he needs to be moved around to prevent blood clots and pneumonia, and that he's not paralyzed but stiffened due to his bony overgrowths.

Yes he has no movement due to muscle turning to bone so no its not paralysis he has full feeling he just can't move.

So,a character of the Sammieverse just delivered a horribly deformed baby yesterday. It appears to have Potters or some other genetic damage,maybe amniotic banding? Sad that she had only 12 painful hours when they knew months ago she was not viable. Her dead twin was also delivered. It died weeks ago.
Did the other baby have the same condition?

Man, I am so behind in the Sammie thread. Thanks for reminding me to catch up.
The baby definitely had a cleft palate, and there's one picture where it's unwrapped, and the "incompatible with life" thing was that the baby had that disorder where the legs are fused.

Side character Kim has become the horrorcow version of Sammie. Instead of fake pregnancies, she has real ones doomed to become content for this thread that she hasn't failed to share pics of publically on FB.
That said, her kids that died in utero (or shortly after birth) are the lucky ones compared to her living kid.

The lack of kidneys and merged legs sounds like Sirenomelia.
That little girl in the picture looks like she might be Shiloh Pepin, who lived to be 10 years old.
I did hear about a woman who had a milder case of sirenomelia (thanks for reminding me of the term) whose legs were separated, but she still used a wheelchair because the legs were not strong enough to walk on. Sadly, she too died, from unrelated reasons, in her 20s.

Yeah I pretty sure it is Shiloh, her case was pretty extensively documented. She was brought up earlier ITT, apparently her mom sadly passed a few years after her daughter. Her parents weren't cows and I remember watching a documentary posted ITT where where her mom even broke down wondering whether she made the right choice continuing the pregnancy with how much her daughter had to suffer from medical issues.
Iirc she was born with only one barely functioning kidney that ultimately failed, managed to get a kidney transplant, but sadly died of pneumonia or some other infection that was made worse by the anti-rejection drugs lowering her immune system.
I guess it just goes to show that these conditions are considered largely fatal for a reason. Missing vital organs from birth is serious shit.
She had two kidney transplants, and had a colostomy and urostomy. She also attended the neighborhood school and participated in Girl Scouts and other normal childhood activities.

Is that what it was? I saw one photo in particular where the feet and legs looked particularly fucked up, but I couldn’t quite figure out how.
I hate that they made the little boy hold a dead/dying deformed baby. Why do they always do that?

He's some kind of creepy virtue signaler. It's annoying how he talks to all the kids like they're retards even when they're of normal intelligence. And even retards can pick up on when they're being talked to like retards, and don't appreciate it.
