They're on the same side as the glowies this time around, so its very confusing for them. That's a maddening part you didn't mention. They act like they're this big resistance movement, but instead of being pointed at the government that loves the chaos that the LGBTQ+ umbrella brings along with them, the rainbow team go after regular people, private industry, etc. The government bends over backward to appease and promote them in every way. Being LGBTQ+ is indeed like being an olympian in that theres this artificial pride that is generated because its politically expedient, only for that glamor and adulation to be minimized as soon as people turn their attention to something else.
