Penn Jillette may have evolved into an utter douche but he's always been right about one thing - any magic trick that actually puts someone in danger is extremely unethical, because most of magic is manipulation of the audience so they're an extremely important part of your tricks, and you're forcing a kind of responsibility on them they would never consent to.

This dude forced the audience to be a part of his and his team's incompetence. They didn't really have a choice in the matter.

It's a bit funny to me that he always seems to have female therapists, though. Maybe he thinks they're easier to manipulate (and to be fair, I think they out number male therapists in general). Still, it makes me suspect that he's not really interested in getting better (that is, talk to someone whose opinion might be valid, e.g. a male) as opposed to paying someone to be sympathetic towards his plights (that is, someone he can get some emotional validation from, e.g. a female).

His therapist is just another accommodation. Instead of going on Fiverr to find a singer, he goes to a clinic to find a friend. Everyone can be bought because people are just functions. They are what they do for Russ, nothing more.

He's mentioned at least one of his therapists being attractive in the past. You know Russ, something's always gonna be in it for him and it's not the help for good mental health, it's someone to oggle at and validate him. Much like prozzies, he's gotta pay by the session to get it.

He wasn't active on LinkedIn for a while but is slowly ramping up again. A few like and comments, your usual like or dumb comment on a girl's profile, these two stood out though.

According to Tom he's sending Russ the information on his case and Russ is adding the legalese and citing the case laws. He also apparently told Tom he's a paralegal instead of being honest that he's a leper in the legal community and is actually cleaning toilets.

I wondered how he'd react to the Roe v. Wade thing. One of his big arguments ("arguments") was that if women were allowed to have abortions, he should be able to pay them for sex. Since both instances revolve around women making choices about their cunts, you see. Anyway, I wonder if this will ever be addressed.

Though the fact that he's responding to a post specifically about abortion with an offer to (presumably) involve these angry women in the far more important activism of getting his dick wet kinda tells me all I need to know. Or all anyone needs to know, really.

It's not just that his lawsuit completely went down in flames, it's that it happened publicly, AND that there really was no "next step" or next person to complain to about his plights. Despite all his bravado and lying to himself, he got slapped down and was now basically directionless and just left standing around like an inconsequential person that nobody cared about, as all the main characters move on with their lives and don't give him a second thought.

And was so desperate to get SOME kind of win, he wanted to get the security footage from the courthouse so he could sue the Kiwi who recorded him. He waited too long to get it, and it was deleted, but also someone told him it's not illegal to film people in a public area, so he had no grounds to sue.
