Instead of wasting time on empty "gotcha" attempts that have been addressed already many times over, let's ask something a little more interesting. Which week of pregnancy, specifically, do you believe life begins at and why?

It’s really not an empty gotcha. It’s a very blatant example of why pro life ideology is ridiculous. The fact that clumps of cells, wether partially formed or not, should be advocated for in rejection of an actual living and breathing conscious human is insanity. The fact that you would connect and empathize more to an embryo than the feelings of an fully conscious, alive and well woman who is telling you she wants to make her own choices in regards to her life and body just SHOWS how out of touch you are not just with your own humanity but also the humanity of the baby you’d want to be force to be here. This is why this country is so backwards.

Way to give up, once again.

You've told others in this thread to take a stats class though clearly you need to retake descriptive and inferential.

Man, snail is biggest pro abortion argument in this entire thread.
it's true though, if you believe blatantly false statistics you've obviously never taken a stats class.

That's right.
There should be post birth abortions for everyone and the government should pay for them.

I don't think either one of them deserves to be murdered, so no, I do not "connect and empathize more" with either one of them. My general opinion is that people do not deserve to be murdered, even if they are complete strangers that I will never meet. Empathy doesn't really factor into it when it's, y'know, total strangers either way. Baseline moral decency still does. Your little "gotcha" here seems ridiculous to you, of course, but not to me or to any other serious pro-life person. Obviously I think that growing human embryos (i.e. human beings) for the purpose of being studied in laboratories for a few days before gracelessly expiring is wrong and should be made illegal.

You never answered my question, by the way. As expected.

Where did I post any blatantly false statistics? I haven't posted or referred to any statistics this entire thread, only this statement
Demographic doing x % of activity is not the same as x % of demographic doing activity.
A statement which literally supports your viewpoint (depending on the issue and demographic....as I said you drop this idea when it supports your own bias).

You don't even know what you're arguing against. You just regurgitate dumb shit you've heard, fling it at the wall, and hope it sticks, with zero comprehension to what you're even referring to and responding to.

This is why I said earlier in the thread that even though my personal beliefs are pro-choice I find the abortion crowd insufferable.

You actually do connect and empathize more with the embryo. You feel the possibility of it having a life should be valued more than the right of women to decide wether or not they want another child, or if they want to put their body through the stress, challenges and dangers that pregnancy brings. You clearly have no clue what forcing a woman to go through a pregnancy could do to her mental, physical or emotional health and frankly I don’t think you care. If a woman is forced to go through a pregnancy and she dies is that NOT murder? Where is your “baseline moral decency” for that scenario?

Thank you, for your uneducated and unqualified opinion that the research they’re doing isn’t worth the “lives”of the balls of cells. How should they go about advancing medical science in regards to fertility and human development oh moral wise one?

You can screech and howl till the cows come home. Your emotional appeals don't mean anything. Murder is still wrong, and yes, a child's right to life supersedes a woman's non-right to kill her own offspring. No amount of flabbergasted faux-outrage will change that. Now, you going to tell us which arbitrarily chosen week of pregnancy life begins at, and why? Or are you going to keep ignoring that uncomfortable little issue in favor of more pointless caterwauling?

your whole argument that abortion is murder is one ginormous appeal to emotion fallacy.

I haven't sat here and written out these sobbing pretentious paragraphs about OH PLEASE how could you won't you just THINK OF THE CHILDREN???? or any other such obnoxious kvetching, because appeals to emotion are retarded and never work on libs anyways. I remain focused entirely on the question of when human life begins (and occasionally debunking retarded leftie distraction attempts such as "if you won't let me murder my child in the womb, then you have to help me take care of it").

all you do is moralfag. your idea of when life begins other people's ideas of when life begins

Yeah, no shit retard. My point is that my definition of when human life begins is not arbitrary, and all other attempted definitions are. Hence my constantly pointing out to you people that your qualifiers for "life" often exclude infants and would allow infanticide if followed sincerely.

Let me see if I can mimic the IncestualMayo person here. Ahem. Oy vey, what if a woman has an infant and she decides she doesn't want it after all, she's not ready, she has post partum depression and she just doesn't want to live anymore having to take care of this screaming shitting ball of cells! What if she gets so depressed that she literally kills herself because she can't kill the infant instead?!?!?!! Wouldn't that be literal murder!?!?!?!?!?! Oy gevalt!

it is extremely arbitrary.
