Their sexual situation has always been bizarre and emotionally incestuous. They're imagining a parent/child role and acting it out sexually. It comes off as contrived and exhausting. Everything they do is a weird performance with an ulterior motive attached to it. Normal adults have sex and don't base their entire identity around it.
