President Biden pushes 'ultra-MAGA' label on GOP as he defends record

President Joe Biden on Tuesday warned voters unhappy with soaring inflation and his stalled domestic agenda against turning power over to “ultra-MAGA” Republicans in the midterm elections as he increasingly tries to cast former President Donald Trump and his adherents as a political foil.

Speaking at the White House less than six months before the elections, Biden acknowledged that he could “taste” the country’s dissatisfaction with Washington, particularly over rising prices, but he sought to channel the anger against the GOP.

“Look, I know you’ve got to be frustrated,” he said. "I know, I can taste it. Frustrated by high prices, by gridlock in Congress, by the time it takes to get anything done.

“The MAGA Republicans are counting on you to be as frustrated by the pace of progress, which they’ve done everything they can to slow down, that you will hand power over to them ... so they can enact their extreme agenda,” Biden said.

Biden's branding of his opposition as “ultra-MAGA Republicans” - a reference to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan - has emerged as a White House trope in recent weeks as the White House hopes for a pre-midterms reset for Democrats, who face stiff headwinds heading into the November elections. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday that “it’s the president’s phrase.”

It is a message seemingly aimed directly at the listless and divided base of Biden's own party, as Democrats struggle to keep their voters motivated, as well as at some moderate voters who still recoil at the memory of Trump’s tumultuous tenure in office.

For Democrats, who have unified control of Washington, running against the minority party is risky, as even Biden acknowledged that voters tend to blame those in control for the nation’s state of affairs.

But the White House believes Republicans have thrown them a lifeline, in the form of GOP Sen. Rick Scott’s 11-point plan, released in late February, that would impose a modest tax increase on many of the lowest-paid Americans, while opening the door for cutting Social Security and Medicare.

The plan, meant as a draft governing agenda for when the GOP retakes power, has been rejected by many Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. But that is not stopping Biden and Democrats from trying to tie Republicans to it more broadly. Scott is the chairman of the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm and a member of Senate GOP leadership.

“That’s a plan in writing and he’s in the leadership,” Biden said.

Biden argued that the potential tax hikes would make it even harder for families struggling with inflation to afford food, housing and transportation.

“Joe Biden can blame me all he wants,” Scott fired back in a statement Tuesday. “Here’s the truth: he’s the President of the United States, Democrats control the House of Representatives and the Senate. Democrats’ agenda is hurting American families and no amount of spin can change that.”

In another statement he called on Biden to resign, calling him “unfit” for the job.

In recent days, the White House has extended the “ultra-MAGA” label to broader criticism of Republicans on other matters, including the push to overturn the constitutional right to an abortion established in the Roe v. Wade decision of the Supreme Court.

Speaking Monday night at a Democratic fundraiser, Biden tested out the “ultra-MAGA” messaging with donors, referencing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ moves to restrict some textbooks from being used in the classroom and Scott’s plan to require regular congressional reauthorization of social safety net programs.

“This is not your father’s Republican Party,” Biden said. This is a MAGA party. This is the MAGA party. And the head of their Republican campaign committee, Senator Rick Scott, the Ultra-MAGA Agenda he put forward, he raises taxes on 70 million people who make well less than $100,000.”

John Anzalone, a Democratic pollster who has worked for Biden, said it’s important to draw sharp contrasts with political opponents.”

Whether you’re in a governor’s race in Michigan or you’re in a Senate race in New Hampshire, those contrasts become really important, because it’s good for voters to know what each side stands for.”

“You’re talking to swing voters, without a doubt, because at the end of the day, independents, swing voters, moderates can make or break a cycle for Democrats and Republicans.”

Anzalone said Biden’s message about “ultra-MAGA” Republicans “is not incompatible.”

Speaking Tuesday, Biden, who ran for office aiming to heal the nation’s divisions, said, “I never expected the ultra-MAGA Republicans who seem to control the Republican Party now to have been able to control the Republican Party. I never anticipated that happening.”

So yea... it really is "ULTRA MAGA BAD!!!"

Whichever furry Broad City millenial in the White House thinks using Ultra MAGA will scare people away like this is Obama trying high school tactics, all it does is reemphasize MAGA and four years of wage growth, 2 dollar gas, and illegals being slowed down. They don't even realize the trade benefits Biden is now wanting to remove, things everyone said were going to hurt the economy but didn't.

I love how he's now bitching "YoU nEeD sIxTy VoTeS iN tHe SeNaTe" to get things done.

It's never their fault that they can't shit done. It's never that their policies are shit.

No, it's always that they were stopped because they just didn't have enough power.

"One more mass purge should do the trick."

That's just it though... ANYTHING that involved Trump the media and congress could not just leave him the fuck alone and ignore whatever trump spewed out. They keep falling for it every goddam time. This is no exception. Biden could have just simply ignored the "Ultra MAGA" movement and just focused on the inflation shit he was supposed to talk about. But now he brought it to light, millions of people now know this shit bothers him (and/or his admin), so now they are going to keep pushing this shit in his face. Once again they've created a boogeyman (more like a strawman) to blame for issues they created but don't want to take the blame for.

Boy howdy do I wish that was true.

The amount of stuff which can get done with the parliamentarian fuckery surrounding a 50+VP vote is absurd. They have some term for it, I want to say "Cloture", but it isn't.

And if the media notices a problem thet R's are speaking out on that Dems are diligently ignoring, they are excoriated for "falling for Right-wing fake outrage!"

They cannot fathom that they are incompetent shitters.

That sounds like lolcow behavior to me, if only the mods allow a Joe Biden thread

Simple. Pedos creep into whatever fringe group will turn a blind eye to their degeneracy. This can be the Catholic church, left wing political groups, right wing political groups, or early faggot advocacy groups. It's the same logic at work as in the 'Geek Social Fallacy': you don't want to be alone, and hearing your opinions regurgitated at you gives you a dopamine hit, no matter who is saying it.

The recent push for pedo shit is super creepy though, although I view it more as an extension of the above. You need to continue the grift after the Main Objective (gay marriage) has been accomplished, and to do that you need to focus on fringe and more messed up groups. Those orgs are def crawling with diddlers.
It's also well documented that exposure to sexual stimulus at a very young age rewires the brain to the point where it causes persistent changes which result in sexual disfunction. There's a reason why we are advised against introducing young children to substances and stimuli that trigger a strong neural response. You are essentially conditioning them to seek out more of that thing. For example the dopamine release effect of social media has trained an entire generation of now young adults to need constant positive reinforcement, which has in turn led to off the charts levels of mental illness and self-and-socially destructive behavior.

The result of praising children for their "sexual/gender exploration" is going to be a bunch of sexually fucked up children and adults. Not to mention the obvious effects of diddling in increasing the numbers of the pervert cohort.

“This is not your father’s Republican Party,”...what's your point? That the Republican party should be more like it was under Reagan who the Left hated?

Who is this remark even targeted to? Republicans? Excluding your RINOs/deranged and corrupted Never-Trumpers, all Republicans hate you and a lot of "independents" with no loyalty to the GOP aren't fond of you either. So ridiculous. Just another meaningless remark from an empty suit.

It's obligatory for them to wheel him out so he can stammer out a few soundbites then let the sympathetic media apparatus fill in the blanks.

"Remember how the republicans acted as useless controlled opposition since Regan died? Trump wants to fuck all that up and prevent us from the controlled decline of America!"

No, it's worse than that. They outright refuse to believe it. They legit think that their shit don't stink, when in reality, it's stinks harder than an Indian after 5 rounds of curry.
Being great is no longer enough, us ULTRA MAGAS now need to make America AWESOME AS FUCK

“This is not your father’s Republican Party,”
Is honestly supposed to scare us?

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!

OK, THIS shows just how out of touch all of these faggots are.

You know why?

Because "This ain't yer father's...." was the fucking catch line of every fucking COOMSOOM BRAND advertisement shoved down Millennial and Gen-X throats in the 1990's.

If it was rad, cool, awesome, then it "ain't yer father's...." X.

Holy shit, talk about not knowing anything.

"This is not your father's Republican Party!"
>Shows Cocaine Mitch snorting a line of coke off a Jamacian stripper's ass, putting on a pair of sunglasses, and skateboarding down the side of the Senate building to slam a pie in Pelosi's face with a sick guitar riff.

Fucking Brandon and the retards who work for him.

Terrorist attacks like this aren't the same as full-blown secessionist movements though. I also think that we could see leftoid derangement turn into some modern day version of the Weathermen bombings, but it's not the same as the likes of California or New York deciding to declare independence.
The problem is their rate of rhetoric escalation and complete willingness to dismiss reality. Consider the following progression.

Roe v Wade gets overturned, some states ban and start prosecuting the practice as murder.
Leftists flip shit, screech, and locals start a campaign of terrorist attacks against state courts prosecuting these cases.
Affected states start cracking down on these groups, killing activists in the worst of cases. One dead nigger is national news, after all.
Residents of Activist states such as California screech into the nth dimension, DEMAND something be done.
Their states accordingly say "well we can't do anything, 60 votes in the senate" yadda yadda political excuse making.
Per Leftist Rhetoric, those opposition politicians in other states are now free game since their deaths would solve the problem.
Activist States end up being grounds for terrorist cells attacking states they don't like.
Literally one good successful attack would force action against them.

At this point, its a branching path. Either the host state condemns and starts cracking down on them too, which would lead to widespread troubles like violence. This is the good outcome.

The alternative option is the state protects them, sides with the activists, at which point you have states condoning attacks on other states. This is the sort of thing that would lead to states taking arms against each other. The odds of the states supporting it really depends on how cucked they get and how many of their officials end up true radicals through elections or succession by carbomb.

Leftists adopting terroristic tactics can absolutely lead to a civil war when their state leadership is as absolutely fucked as it is.
