The mistake incels make is not being misogynist correctly. If women aren't shit, then why be salty over being rejected by them? That's just a self-own.

At any rate, the main lesson to take away is that you shouldn't derive your self-worth from how much other people want to have sex with you. That goes for both genders. And no, that doesn't mean that hygiene is optional, you fucking neck/legbeards.

Kind of. It's that they have a certain expectation of women that women aren't living up to, and it makes them upset that their idea of what a woman "should" be isn't what they are in reality.

I will say this, and I'll prepare myself for the dumb ratings to follow, but I don't necessarily think all self-proclaimed incels are bad people. There are basically two camps of incel that I've noticed. The first camp is the socially awkward, nerdy guys who just are terrible at approaching women, don't know how to do it for whatever reason, and they're upset because they want a relationship and don't know how to get one. Unfortunately, if they end up mingling with the incel crowd, that anger boils over into resentment and hatred and they become misogynists, but they're not totally hopeless. I think they can be helped if given the right tools.

However, there's also the second camp, which our good friend Johnny here falls into, and this is the camp of out-and-out misogynists who have this exceptionally narrow view of what a woman should be, and they just hate the fact that women aren't that thing. These are the folks who legitimately believe women are just sex dispensers who exist to cook and clean and suck their dick on demand without complaint.

I personally don't like to try and generalize incels, because I've found there's lots of different reasons one might fall into that crowd, and I do think there's some merit, however slim it may be, to some of the stuff they say. I think a good number of them are just ignorant and confused and need help.

Johnny here, on the other hand, is just a total piece of shit. I mean, fuck, even if you are of the "boo hoo, woe is me, women won't fuck me" persuasion, going around and straight-up harassing women and being a creepy fuck does nothing to endear people to you. I honestly don't know what this guy is thinking. He's gonna go up to a girl and say "suck my dick you dumb bitch" and she's gonna say "oh wow, you're so laconic and manly, let's go to your place right now?" Dumbass.

I sometimes wonder the influence of Elliot Rodgers on the incel community.

Granted, he failed (like an incel) but he tried, and from his effort every now and then some incels grows some balls and do something hurtful to women.

A man who can easily overpower the average woman calling a woman a bitch and telling her how much he wants to fuck her, not letting up on their harassment, should be considered a physical threat. Usually I wouldn’t say this because I think victims of this kind of shit can be very loose with their interpretations of what is and isn’t a threat, but this is a pretty clear-cut example where the victim should have felt the need to defend herself, regardless of the fact he may not have ultimately physically harmed them.

There’s a difference between calling someone names on the internet or what have you, and consistently berating & harassing someone who poses no threat to you after they’ve repeatedly asked you to stop.

Furthermore, self-defense laws in most states, including California, do not require you to be attacked first. Self-defense extends to actions taken if you believe that you are in imminent danger.

So yes, a big, hulking dude harassing you at night, being extremely sexual and persisting even when asked to stop can absolutely be seen as a threatening action, and a kick in the nuts would be an absolutely legal form of self-defense.

I don't care if you're an incel. I don't care if you think the women are sluts. I don't care if California is a progressive hellhole with upside down priorities in criminal prosecutions. All of these things can still be true while also saying this guy is an indefensible prick and deserves jail time. They are not mutually exclusive.
