𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

They would love to have Trump back on Twitter. The only way in hell he loses to Biden is saying something stupid on Twitter.
Fuck the Commission on Presidential Debates. From now on, the rule is that you walk into the Twitter Thunderdome. Two (senile) men enter, one man leaves. As President.

Why do they always have to say "a violent insurrection"? it's always that exact phrasing "violent insurrection" where did that instruction come from?

It's pathetic and creepy but also not unfunny.
The idea is to exaggerate what happened and 'violent insurrection' get that across well. 'Violent' is quite obvious but I think 'insurrection' is used because it sounds more nefarious than, say, 'riot' or 'rebellion' which I think has somewhat positive connotations in American society. The sound of 'insurrection' - 'in-sur-rek-shun' - itself is quite discomforting - with the hard 'k' and 'sh' sounds, the somewhat hostile 'in-' and the uncommon '-surr-' sound. All this together gives 'insurrection' a feeling of much greater severity than other words - exactly what they are trying to evoke. And, once one person realised this and started using this phrase, many others decided to copy it because they liked the effect.

Aside from the obvious reason, the NASDAQ itself has been down across the board anyway, and has dropped 20% in the last month alone. Those percentages he's citing don't mean shit without that context.
People wonder why he is fake news and a failure of a journalist. He failed with such pristine outlets he crafted like iprong, beatweek,Stabley times, and daily news bin.

I'm ootl, did any normalfags anhero over this? did the nigger-american musk unban the orange boomer yet?

Did anything happen at all?

To see the ACLU backing Musk plan, it get my Spider-sense tingling. I don't know why but I feel there's something fishy about it.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has come out in support of Elon Musk to end the Twitter ban of former President Donald Trump.

Musk, the SpaceX and Tesla founder, is poised to buy Twitter.

If the purchase goes through, Musk suggested on May 10 that he will lift the ban.

“I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump. I think that was a mistake,” he said.

Anthony Romero, the ACLU’s executive director, said Musk’s decision “is the right call.”

“When a handful of individuals possess so much power over the most important forums for political speech, they should exercise that power with restraint. If Trump violates the platform rules again, Twitter should first employ lesser penalties like removing the offending post—rather than banning a political figure,” Romero said in a statement.

“Like it or not, President Trump is one of the most important political figures in this country, and the public has a strong interest in hearing his speech. Indeed, some of Trump’s most offensive tweets ended up being critical evidence in lawsuits filed against him and his administration. And we should know—we filed over 400 legal actions against him,” he added.

Twitter banned Trump for allegedly inciting violence through posts made during and after the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. Trump has denied he was inciting violence.
