On the one hand that is true, but on the other hand there are two significant differences:

1. The UK judge relied almost entirely on Heard's testimony and regarded it as truthful. One of the things that the judge had mentioned that showed that Amber Heard wasn't just a "golddigger", is because she donated the 7 million divorce settlement. A fact that is now proven to be false.
2. Heard's testimony was not public and as such it's hard to compare, but I do not expect the jury to believe her tales told, as the UK judge did. Someone making wild stuff up once can be very convincing, because many people find it hard to believe how easily some people can lie. But having to do so a second time, means that there can be many inconsistencies and cross is going to be an absolute joy to watch next week.

Considering that US lawyers all say he probably won't win, because defamation cases in the US rarely go through, I'll bow to their expertise. But even if he loses the battle, he'll have won the war of both rehabilitating his image through having it be public, and her being absolutely fucked into the ground by her many obvious lies, where even a make-up company takes a shit on her with a tiktok and exposes her lie of the concealer she claimed to use, not even being in production yet at the time.
