Let, and I cannot stress this enough, little boys wear dresses if they want without making it a huge fucking deal. The kid is curious about different clothing and self-expression and honestly, the world needs more gender nonconforming guys. I know several fellow Moms whose sons wear dresses occasionally for play or dress up and no one makes a big deal out of it because they are literal children.

This is so goddamn frustrating. If this wasn't a damn clown world and Tony hadn't decided that speaking in a pinched valley girl voice, wearing old lady church dresses and possibly the worst wig ever made him a true and honest woman then I bet the kid could have just worn a damn dress without so much fucking upheaval. Who knows if he would have even  wanted to without Tony's grooming, but regardless - this is a clear-cut example of how Tony's narcissistic behavior is having a profound impact on his kid's development. The (real) Mom was so right to take the kiddo; she was rightly afraid of what was happening to him.

I'm not an expert or anything, but it seems pretty clearcut that Tony's kid is doing what kids do - he was emulating his parent figure and figuring out which behaviors get him attention. Suddenly, this kid sees Dad being completely focused and obsessed with dresses and "being a girl." Kid picks up cues that this kinda thing must be *important* and emulates.

Tl;Dr A kid of any sex wearing a dress is not a big deal. Tony made it a  huge deal. Kid is going to need extensive therapy.

I would love to know how the custody decision was made (awarding custody to Tony). It's difficult to know what the truth is about his ex-wife and her involvement with the son.

The whole "Oh I left her after she cheated on me, boohoo, so now I'm transing out" thing seems to be. . . common? Now, I'm not advocating cheating because I find it morally indefensible, but his wife probably cheated on him after years of emotional and physical neglect stemming from his "gender stuff." A friend of mine had a similar experience. She and her ex broke up before he trooned out (and he actually did so after marrying another unsuspecting woman, sigh) and ostensibly a factor was that my friend was not *totally* faithful. But I've recently been chatting with her about her experiences, and my God, she was so emotionally abused and manipulated. When she cheated on him, it was because he hadn't touched her in about 5 months. It's cliche to say this, but it truly was more about just being held for her than anything particularly sexual. She says now that she was so confused when he came out as "lesbian" later because he seemed to have nearly zero interest in her and spent all his time online (now, she realizes, LARPing as a woman with other MtFs). I so wish I could post pics of this dude because he's  hilarious looking, but I don't want it to ever get back around to biting my friend in the ass that she shared so much with me.

MtFs love to be the damn victim at all times. I love that he says he and his ex broke up over her cheating, but doesn't take any responsibility for the breakdown of the relationship.
