Eyewitness testimony is not nothing but it is not gospel either.
A good example would be to look at Holocaust survivors. There are many cases of eyewitnesses claiming things that were later found to not be true. Thousands of people swore that there were gas chambers at Dachau, something that no one believes anymore. At the Ernst Zundel trial, when put on the stand, many of the "eyewitnesses" admitted that they did not personally see the things they talked about but were merely repeating rumors.

If you are an atheist, the Miracle of the Sun is pretty hard to explain due to the sheer number of eyewitnesses. You either have to accept it as irrefutable that Catholicism as true or you have to say that ten of thousands of people were either lying or wrong about what they saw.

After every mass shooting, there will usually be a handful of eyewitnesses claiming that there were multiple shooters even at events where we know that weren't.

Here would be a more relevant analogy for this particular case:
Think about all of your ex-girlfriends. Would they all be reliable eyewitnesses if asked to explain the demise of your relationship?

Problem is, well there just isn't a leader worthy of the command that his would be army would give him.

You shouldn't be ashamed to want to follow-you should however know when your leader has failed to achieve what he has brought you to achieve, in this case he is unworthy of your fidelity.

So my message to Fuentes supporters is take the loss with dignity-beyond that it would be presumptuous of me to tell you what to do. If however...a true leader emerges, one who keeps Nick's message, but proves equal to the task of the ideal-then yes follow him!

Be the army, be the servant of the king who has earned his crown. Not the pretender and He will lead you to victory.

This is just a recipe for following a procession of morally-corrupt sociopaths.

People leaving AF need to be reexamining their priorities from top to bottom.

AF, and anything that looks or acts like it, is going to be a dead end because its core tenets are rotten and toxic to the people who embrace them.

I say this specifically to those young men who find themselves desperately searching for leaders -- even the pure, uncorrupted message that Nick preaches (the one he fails at personally) is one that is going to take advantage of your weaknesses and exploit you for labor and then leave you with literally nothing.

You will be unemployed and unemployable. You will be left unable to function in normal society.
