You weren't going to vote for them anyway, so it doesn't matter. The base will believe it and the media will add it into their 24-hour propaganda stream to pick off others by attrition whether the details are true or not. They lied about and sabotaged President Trump for years and got away with it; they only have to perform this act for a news cycle before we switch to something else.

It's technically true. These organizations probably have some private grant or funding and will get federal funds.
When it comes time to make the kits, one side of the company uses private funds in it's own account to buy the pipes, the other uses the federal funds to buy every single other item in the kit.

Makes sense. If there's a shortage of gasoline you raise the price and people drive less and you probably don't run out. For Diesel it's not like there is very much discretionary driving involved, it goes up and you just have to pay it(and it's been really high out here in the west), Which also means demand doesn't decrease much, if at all, with price. Something something elasticity of demand.

Why wouldn't they? Like many others in the thread have said, they're not gonna be left holding the bag for it. Brandon will be dead before 2024, and Kopmala clearly doesn't have a desire to "level up" to the Presidency. They can pin all of this on Drumpf when/if he reassumes office in 2024.

Well most people are, not because they are dumb, but they are working, they are going on holidays, they are meeting their friends. Not everyone has the free time, curiosity or interest to sit around talking about world politics in a detached way at 2am while downing vodka and energy drinks.
It would take hours of explaining the entire media tech political apparatus, to an average person, with like slideshows and shit, before we even got how they were abusing it. And even at the end of your 3 hour long Ted Talk. People are still likely not to believe you because their phone feed says something completely different.
