40 billion is a large sum of money though it's not so large when you look at the budget for the entire United States Federal Government. From what I'm to understand, we're not giving them 40 billion dollars. We're giving them 40 billion dollars of equipment sitting in supply depots and collecting dust. Also, it's not a charity. That 40 billion needs to be paid back to the United States. Will that happen? Probably not. But it's not technically "charity". We're not giving it away. And private arms companies are getting paid for Javelins and shit. So it's not like that money is just going into the ether.

What should Government do about inflation at this point? The market needs to self correct. The only way I know how to stop inflation is to pull currency out of circulation to make it worth more. That's a pretty tall order. "Hey we're going to raise taxes so we pull money out of circulation so your dollar is worth more". That'll go over well. Last I checked, the dollar was still pretty strong in terms of the international currencies. There's not a good way to address this that will give results in the near future. This is a super messy thing and any kind of change to get it under control is going to be decades in the making. We didn't get here overnight. We won't fix it overnight.

A lot of this used to be handle by wet nurses or starting in the late 1700s, infants with diseases or defects would receive special slurries based off breast or some animal's milk that's would be homemade or produced by a pharmacist from a prescription recipe by a doctor but now that's completely gone in the west, only thing left is the mother breastfeeding or mass produced formula made by a single fucking company in the country.
