The autism got the better of me so i had to check (phone posting so pls bear with me)

And in spite of all that, months later he spergs and fights his chat over shitty plugins that arent even that necessary to the game's QoL in the grand scheme of things

Since Pyromancer (understandably) didn't want anyone seeing his meltdown, he deleted the VOD, which of course had already been downloaded and uploaded to Youtube, so he decided to use DMCA to pull it down. Which means putting your full name out there. pyromancer.jpg

The funniest thing to me is how he is speaking so authoritively. Cunt, you've been playing this game for 5 months, you haven't been around for anything, how can you say they have not warned or banned people for this before, they HAVE, multiple times.

I think he reacted to the Ginger Prime video because the vod of his freakout wasn't available to view at the time.

I could be wrong though.

Yeah, it's the same guy.

He was a big wow lore guy. Made his money from it. Not only was the story fucking dog shit to the point it was insanely cryptic you could barely figure out the story, but also that shit would change during development.

After the Harassment Lawsuit came out into the public, he went pretty fucking schizo. Had a huge meltdown which was pretty well spread because it echod alot of what the players (and ex players) were thinking of the situation.

He stripped his room pf everything Blizzard and I think (citation needed) even went and deleted his account.

Then everyone said to give FF14 a go, and like even myself, decided to give it try.

And then we get the Add-Ons situation now, where he's had another meltdown.

What he means is that nobody in the developed world was doing it. The only people doing it who weren't third-worlders whose local currency was worth less than WoW gold were legitimate turbospergs on the same level as ulillillia or people who were playing during the worst era of gold inflation (WoD) who had mountains of gold they could never hope to spend unless they were sinking it into BoEs for week 1 heroic/mythic prog.

His point is still mostly retarded though. WoW tokens are bad because they do actually function surprisingly well.

Not to powerlevel too hard, but I watched Pyro early on just for background noise during Bozja grinding. Even healed a few dungeons for him when he was doing ARR since he's literally on my server. At the time, people in chat (most of whom were certifiable FF Andys) were telling him that tearing down all his blizz shit and putting up FF shit was excessive. And he just sort of shrugged it off with comments along the lines of, "Why do you guys care? Aren't you happy for me?"

There's something deeply wrong with him emotionally.

yeah but there's a wicked crazy amount of those. and people with moderately 'normal' schedules might not convert their gold into game time all the time, but might here or there for a month or two out of the year

the real kicker with the wow token that makes it so bad is that you can buy fucking everything with gold in that game now - boosties, carries, drops, achieves... it's fucking stupid. great way to farm money from whales and allow needs to spend less money on their subs, so there's more money for tendies and porn commissions

Mr. Brappy does his second video on the subject where he goes through the ToS line-by-line and points out how the rules are actually fairly clean-cut and not vague like Xeno is pretending. He also definitively shuts down the argument that Discord or other voip software could be construed as being against the ToS.

Wonder if the Bald Cuck will fire back at all.

Not seen the video but surely common sense dictates that third-party tools refers to third-party tools which interacts directly with the game either by providing input from your instance, pulling output from your instance, or modifying the gameplay files? Like, I'll admit that I think it kinda sucks to crack down on modding when there are many legitimate uses past bragging about the colour of your pass (as Chair pointed out btw, it doesn't fucking matter, even the shittiest parse is a clear).

Something like Discord, or even slightly more dedicated tools like FFXIV Teamcraft or Universalis isn't against ToS because they're not pulling info from your game window. They're self-isolated apps. Compare that to ACT that directly pulls out damage numbers, or gameplay modifying addons like XIVCombo.

There's also the grey area with tools like Corsair iCue where it's not against ToS to have it installed and running, or even to make macros to bind additional macro keys to actions, but if you macro multiple actions to one keypress then it is against ToS.

It does kinda suck that modding is being crunched down on. It's got a lot of legitimate uses and is the best way to tell if you're pulling your weight in high-difficulty content or even allowing people with colourblindness to play certain instances/trials. But even I'm not gonna turn around and pretend "oh they're so vague and technically this counts and blah blah blah". This is the hardcore raider version of freaking out over NSFW adventurer plates. Did you at any point think you were 100% clear, or were you ducking under the radar? I'm not above using ACT, but I don't pretend like it's anything more than a breach of ToS that I get away with because I don't use the tool to be an asshole or broadcast it around.
