White House Advises Parents Worried About Starving Babies to ‘Call Their Doctor’ - LOL Biden Is Fucking DONE

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said parents who are worried about their baby’s immediate needs for formula amid a nationwide shortage should “call their doctor” in a press briefing on Thursday.

After a reporter asked Psaki what should parents who cannot find baby formul do, she detailed the steps the White House is taking to address the baby formula shortage.

“I’m just wondering if you’re a parent today and you go to the store, you can’t find any formula on the shelves, as is being reported across the country. What is what is the step that they should take?” the reporter asked.

Psaki noted that the reporter raised “important public health questions,” but did not provide immediate steps for parents to take.

Psaki continued:
But what I can report on here, what I can convey to all of you is what we’re doing to address exactly that concern, which is taking every step we can to ensure there is supply on store shelves and we have increased the supply over the last four weeks. And as the President, as I noted at the top of this briefing we’re gonna take every step we can to cut red tape to a to ensure we’re working with with retailers like WalMart that we’re working with Wreckit and Gerber and others who can produce more to ensure we are getting supply out to stores and out to retailers so that parents don’t have that concern. But beyond that, that’s what I can read out for all of you from here.

The reporter pressed Psaki for immediate steps families can take amid the formula shortage, to which Psaki said, “call their doctor.”

“We would certainly encourage any parent who has concerns about their child’s health or well being to call their doctor or pediatrician,” Psaki said.

President Joe Biden’s supply chain crisis has hit families harder due to its impact on baby formula. The formula shortage has been increasing since the end of last year.

As Breitbart News reported:
Datasembly also found that in July 2021, the [Out of Stock Percentage] OOS% moved into the double digits and then started to increase significantly towards the end of November 2021 ,where it went from 11 percent nationwide to 31 precent by the week starting April 3, 2022.
For the week starting April 24, there were six states that had baby formula OOS percentages higher than 50 percent:
• Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota were 50-51 percent.
• Missouri was 52 percent.
•Texas was 53 percent and Tennessee was 54 percent
• There were 26 states that had 40-50 percent out of stock compared to three weeks ago when there were seven.

Biden’s administration has only begun to address the formula shortage this week.

The normals don't need MSNBC to tell them that there is a baby formula shortage and who to blame for it. This would be like trying to cover up corpses rotting in the street in front of your house.
Just watch as the journos figure how to make this the orange man's problem. Maybe it'll be his fault for not using the defense production act, nevermind how that was slavery and trying to kill essential workers back when they didn't want him to do it.

This anecdote is old as fuck but allegedly decades ago, doctors actually got sample formula from the manufacturers to shill at their patients. If you're poor and the doctor liked you, they'd give it to you for free, marketing be damned.

Going to the doctor to access a different supply chain might not be the most retarded thing that's ever been suggested, but I'm not sure if it still would.

The problem with this strategy even if it does still work is you have to be just poor enough to bet for formula but rich enough to still go to the doctor.

E: looks like @Larry David's Opera Cape mentioned this before me, but I'm going to keep this anyways and add judging by his response: serious emphasis on this plan being dependant on the doctor liking you and you being in the perfect income range to pull it off. It won't work for anyone here because we're all autistic and lack the charisma to pull it off.
They have really cracked down on formula samples in recent years thanks to things like the WHO's "baby friendly hospital initiative"- one of those things that sounds wonderful from the name, like the anti-puppy-kicking brigade, but turns out to just be another control freak social engineering "nudge"-fest in practice that makes life more difficult for medical staff and patients alike.

Edit:

"The program also restricts use by the hospital of free formula or other infant care aids provided by formula companies and recommends that when formula is medically needed, it should be given in a small cup or spoon, rather than a bottle and should only be used to supplement breastfeeding."

So while Biden has been busy with creating new departments for handling misinformation and environmental justice, he never thought that it would be prudent to create a task force to help solve the logistics and supply issues? It would probably be shit, but at least it would be an attempt to solve a real problem than whatever he is doing now.

I think the people who were posting on Tumblr in 2014 are literally running this administration. They live on another planet and have no conception of what the real world is supposed to be or how it works.

This will not be covered in the mainstream center or left media. Any post on social media will be restricted so exposure is limited. Fact checkers will label the claim false or miscaptioned at best.

This will be buried by the Monday news cycle.
By it's very nature, no one who cares about this issue can afford to let it slide. If you've dried up or the baby just can't work with your tits, your child's life depends on this, and Joe and co. will lose people forever if they let this issue get to life threatening levels. And they'll completely ratfuck their perception as the "good guys", too.

You aren't exactly wrong even you're saying this in a joking way.

I noticed the USA starting to go to shit right around when people my age started being old enough to no longer be the coffee bitch at their job. And it only got worse as time progressed, which lines up with upward failure promotions for everyone woke enough that they can play office politics like perfect little sociopaths but aren't explicitly damaging enough to be worth the massive pain in the ass of firing them.

its not the governments job to ensure there is baby formula anymore than it is their job to ensure there is bread.
If they don't want riots, it is. Because that's what's going to happen if babies start starving to death or die from horrible reactions to having their food messed with. The government shut a plant down instead of cleaning it up when we were already having supply issues and now it IS the government's business.

Bro, have you slept though history class? Literally every government in the world and throughout time has two jobs: provide security and provide food. If they fail to do that then they will be revolts and revolutions.

You mean back when wet nurses were a thing?
In a country literally dying from overeating, full of fat cunts and excess, we are really going to go down the road of "my kid will die if it doesn't have powder" routine. Literally hundreds of millions of persons globally would laugh at this and think "idiots".

And we didn't want a nanny state...except when we want literally a nanny state.

Not every woman can breastfeed. There's a lot that goes into it and sometimes you just dry up without warning. Also, if mom dies or gives up the child formula is going to be the only source of nutrients for that child.

It won't work. The hospital I work for is currently out of several different varieties of baby formula, and back orders for them are stretching out months. Other varieties appear to be on the verge of going on back order. Nothing I like better than fielding a call from a NICU nurse and telling them we have nothing to send them.

Is it a different supply chain? Yes. It is, however, downstream of the apparent actual choke point here: the manufacturers.

So let me get this straight...

If a kid dies in a city of 1 million, surrounded by food and other mothers, we are going to put blood on the WH.

This is just too fucking funny.

I can see if now, a woman with dry breasts and a dead baby in the middle of Times Square screaming that her child had to die and there was nothing that could be done.

Oh this is just too good...

Oh for fucks sake.

You know infants were raised by human beings for 2 million fucking years without baby formula.

Can we all just Get a fucking grip?
Sit your fat stupid ass down, you fucktarded chimp brained retard.

You realize that for two million years lack of breastmilk was a fucking killer. A BIG fucking killer.

Not being able to breastfeed has been a huge problem.

Now add in that many households have 2 parents who work, that stress can dry up milk, that any medical problem where the mother can't breastfeed or the mother and baby are separated, that some babies can't latch, that some women dry the fuck up, and you've got a problem.

Sure, it's a problem that affects less than, oh, let's just use an example number: 1.5 percent. There's an estimated 73 MILLION babies, right this fucking second, below a year old. So, there's a lot of babies, right there.

Go ahead, dipshit, look around a million people in the face and tell them "Get a grip, people haven't used baby formula for all of history! Guess your baby just gets to die!"

Holy fuck, the fact you can say something this fucking pig fuck ignorant tells me you've never been anywhere near a woman's body parts.

Dipshits like you think that the baby formula industry was invented in the 80's or something and that before then it was just milk full titties as far as the eyes could see.

Faggot.
