I’m sure the cost of tuition for all the years he attended was under $10k but guys like Ralph always went for maximum loan amounts they didn’t need to buy weed, pay their rent, new stereo, booze, etc… Student loans nothing but piggy bank that allowed them to be drunk, buy toys and stay unemployed for a few years before flunking out. I figure Ralph was dumb enough to take on $60k or more in student debt just because he’s lazy and greedy, not because his schooling cost anywhere near that, just probably how much he could get his hooves on.

It doesn't matter how much The Gunt got as a loan, the point is that he didn't get a degree and he's refused to pay back the loan and gotten his credit shot to hell for it.

There are a lot of low IQ people out there who are also rageaholics and find in Ralph a kindred spirit. Because they’re like Ethan, they have no problem simping for him and putting donos on credit cards they have no intention of ever paying off. The dopamine hits from seeing their names onscreen, like the items Ralph bought for Alice off her wishlist, might even be on credit cards in someone else’s name.
