I don't know exactly how it works in Arkansas, but in my state, if the fetal demise happens prior to 20 weeks gestation, there isn't a death certificate or anything. While some people will still have a name for the fetus at that point, some people don't, and they don't need a name for paperwork because there's no death certificate. The fetus is also usually sent off to pathology rather than sent to a funeral home and is considered medical waste. Many hospitals mass cremate them and have a joint service type thing for all fetal demises once a year.

Maybe Kim chose not to name that one because she didn't legally have to. Maybe she didn't have a "bond" (and I use that loosely because I don't think Kim has the ability to bond with anyone) because she lost him so early. It's hard to say, but Chocolate Pudding Baby clearly wouldn't have garnered her as much sympathy as the slightly more palatable mermaid monstrosity.

In some ways, I think this was Kim's ultimate dream scenario. Getting pregnant and then losing the baby is a perfect way to garner money and sympathy, and now she doesn't have to follow through and actually raise more children. She can't even raise the one she has, and Kim knows this. It's why she never cared to stop her reckless behaviors, most women stop doing everything and anything harmful while pregnant in order to ensure the success of their unborn child in utero. It is very unsettling watching her pose and act how she thinks grief is supposed to look like, but seeing the pure delight in her eyes due to the unfortunate circumstances that she can use as a grifting opportunity is even more...unsettling.
