The copium around this is pretty hilarious... the dude straight up said the plea was the best route while biting his tongue. If he did want to play the hero, he would outright deny the deal, the trial date would be exactly the same. There´s nothing to play out of this alleged stunt - again, he would still be awaiting trial and collecting superchats if he just refused the deal. He was just a massive nigger and that´s why niggers are sentenced harder.

They probably went over it but Baked can't say guilty knowing people are going to clown on him for saying it even if it was true. So of course he has to come up with this story about Jesus coming down from heaven and having a heart to heart that he should be weaselly and take the plea but say he's innocent. what was the plea deal? if it was a shit deal i'd understand. and knowing how quickly things seem to be changing, another two years before sentencing might be worth it. the US government has been getting a lot of Ls recently. for fucks sake imagine if we end up full great depression, suddenly Baked waiting until the last possible moment for those 3 square meals won't seem as stupid. especially because he'd end up getting the lightest sentence because the prosecutor not wanting to let him have even that.
Haven't been following too long the Jan 6th stuff, but if he got a James Fields or Derek Chavin-esque 90 year sentence i'd understand not taking that plea.
Mind you as JCS has shown, confessing to a crime doesn't help you as much as you'd think, and judges could easily throw out those plea deals like Chinatown. for all we know if Baked acted like an adult he'd be gone for the rest of his life.
