If they did drop the case, it likely had everything to do with the fact that there's literally no evidence outside of he-said-she-said and Chantal is refusing to be forthcoming with anything helpful. Alternatively, it could be that they decided to drop it because both parties were abusing each other and repeatedly continued having contact even after they were told to stop. She must have opened and read the letter that day she said she has just received really good news but that she couldn't share it. I'm assuming she told Nader immediately, and that they planned a two-day trip to "celebrate". Her staying at that horrible motel is kind of weird, but didn't she put him up in another seedy motel one time? She did mention in this last stream that she was homesick. I believe her when she said she got annoyed with "the person" and came home.

It seems obvious to me that things didn't go as planned with Nader. She, of course, had concocted this grandiose nonsense in her head about how they'd celebrate finally being able to be together again, that he must have finally learned his lesson after being "stuck" with DD and unable to legally see her, that the shitty Cornwall trip would be Toronto Take Two, he'd leave DD and run back to her, they'd look at cabins in the woods together, and he finally would propose. Then everything crashed and burned when she got to the shitty hotel and ate his shitty food, he forced a quick blow job, and then promptly settled in coughing and video chatting women on Messenger, and probably talking to DD right in front of her. She likely put up a huge stink and left.

I hope she left him there in Cornwall with no way to get back to Montreal, but she doesn't have the balls. It would be great though, because he couldn't go live and rag on her without revealing that he decided to go to the motel with her and admit he lied to his audience. It would be great if DD was mad at him running off with Chantal, but again, we couldn't see it live without them admitting to things they've lied about, so I doubt they'll do it.

So finally legally reunited with her lover and she lasted less than 24 hours before rage quitting. Love that for her.

Agreed, but most of her rage will be that she lost the leverage she thought had over Nader with the charges. She'll rage that "He got away with it! It's not fair!"

She wanted him to feel punished for being "abusive" to her, but still have him be legally prohibited from being able to criticize her online.

Also, she admitted she wanted to keep the charges and still sleep with him.

I was thinking that the detective probably told her the case wasn't going forward and she asked for a memo stating as much "to protect her if she was caught with Nader" and that was just an informal memo the detective wrote for her. That might explain why there is no department/division info on the letter head and she probably ripped off the detective's signature block on the bottom.

Late to this it's bulk print quality and the police logo isn't in colour. I've seen reaction channels say it's "weird" it isn't in colour but it's really not.

Government buildings like police stations have to spew out hundreds if not thousands of pieces of paper per day. They don't invest in fancy photo quality ink jet printers for such tasks. They need printers which act quickly and are cost efficient so resort to black only laser printers. They care it's legible and that's it. Their high quality printers with colour ink are kept to one side for things that matter. This is the exact type of quality print out I'd expect to see come out of a police station.

If this has been faked, whoever did it either knew to print it on something of convincing quality or happened to print using the right kind of tech.

There is zero surprise this was thrown out by the police.
