drag them through commissions, domains and everything else that costs resin - just like people have been doing before the pot was ever a thing (commissions + bonus alone give you 340 cxp per day). resin is pretty much 1:1 cxp, only bosses give you a bit more (45/70 for weekly). takes under 2 months to get one from 0 to max this way. you could also autisticly farm random events when you know how for another 150 cxp per day on top.
and it gives you a reason to level them and learn how they work (unless the rest of your team is strong enough to just carry them, but gl trying to do it with a mix of random 3 or even 4).

CXP itself doesn't matter much, I just don't like not utilising & wasting my resources.

Every big/old gacha must have at least a few token furry males (and only males), it seems they want to show it off early but i dont expect many more.

Game looks pretty and more combat focused than Genshin, some interviews say the game has "roguelite elements" and "ever changing labyrinths" so it's probably mission based with procedural dungeons. If it's fun and f2p friendly i'll check it out.

If it makes ya feel any better, the friendship points seem to be veeery minor. It only counts 3 per day and the 3 fishes i gave to my xiangling (who's lvl 8 ) only moved the bar like 2 pixels foward.

It's still free friendship but it's not realistically enough to give more than a few lower levels at best. I bet 3 days on the teapot (max rank + 8 people) gives more free XP than this whole event. I guess you have the novelty of feeding your characters to watch their reactions but since we cant switch them out, that is super lost. Better than nothing i guess.

I meant more for people like me who leveled every char and used them in the daily chores I'm doing anyway (and since I got them might as well use them and make them work) there's not a lot that event offers for me. never bothered with event farming, closest I do is logging out in spots I know they spawn, which is only 15 cxp extra each day.

120 per day, so it would still take ~245 days to max a char via pot alone. sure, it works on 8 at the same time, but doing chores with maxed chars kinda feels inefficient to me.

but that event now with still a bugged pot is kinda dumb. might have expected to have it fixed with 2.7, but why not postpone it as well then?

He's practically a reuse of Xiao's OG design.
 
I am so bored i spent the past week ascending my nobodies to 50/60 for the free fate since i'm getting close to standard banner pity and today i JUST ascended razor and got Keqing c1 on 70/90 (before soft pity),as if to mock me.

RIP The jean dream again... Felling like leveling keqing out of spite now. I have beidou+xq and sayu/zl so can probably work a viable team, even if it's not winning any awards.

Yanfei at least has a lot of chinese symbolism on her design. Her hat is an old school china judge hat, she holds a scale and she throws a deer themed fire stamp. She doesnt dress like a lawyer but there is an obvious effort to show how connected to law she is.

Heizou on the other hand has very little detective symbolism (that i can tell). He has a japanese officer club ("jitte") on his hip but everyone i seen online thinks it's a sword and i doubt he uses it on combat. He looks more like a generic anime ninja instead of a quirky (if overdesigned) genshin character.

If there's one thing the hiatus is good for, it's playing catch up - I've got more than a few characters that've been stuck at Level 70, should probably get around to some serious Boss Busting and Genocide Runs...

Heizou also seems to have the small problem of being Anemo - unless my blind ass is getting elements mixed up again - meaning he competes with both Venti and Kazuha. Unless he's stupidly busted, he'll probably not see much use compared to those two, and even Venti's fallen off outside using him to get to hard to reach places...
 
Man, that pose. Just standing with his hand on his jitte would be much better for basics. Add a messenger owl and you have an intriguing character.

The orange pants too, lol.

I won't worry about how overlapped anemo is as long the character mechanics are interesting enough, eg: Sayu. Thinking about it too much just hurts having fun.

One of the reliable leakers said he's a 4* and the first male catalyst user. I dont know what they'll do with him but his competition is stacked. Xiao is as a 5* anemo dps, venti CC + energy is insane (when it works), Kaz has high dmg+range while buffing, sucrose shares EM and sayu/jean are very flexible healers.

A lot of people are hoping he'll be a dedicated xiao support but that would suck because not even Gorou, sara and shenhe are THAT specific. "xiao sucks cause he lacks supports" is also a shitty meme that needs to die.

I'm hoping he brings something new and fun that only he can do, even if it's some specific niche.
