My two favorite examples Watamage cursing Vince's game was a table match that Reine lost because he fat ass nudged the table and broke it, don't remember which episode that was from, and another table match from the latest HFZ where a table glitched into a corner and the AI tried for 5 minutes to find a table under the ring to no avail.

She needs to put limits on model redeems.
10-20 minutes, 30 minutes maximum, with a cap of no more than 2-3 instances per model per stream.
Also up the cost.
It should be an occasional gag, not a whole stream thing.

So this month is LazuLight's anniversary, and the next one is Obsydia in July.

That means that, as far as EN goes, June might be a free slot for them to slip in Wave 6. I think they'll probably wait until the end of August instead, though, and give themselves and everyone else that little bit of extra buffer.

It's total new territory now because they're mixed-gender auditions and that means there's even more competition to fill the spots. A 5-6 month gap would have a lot more hype around it too, especially in the heart of summer.

Are there other vtubers, apart from Pippa and Amelia, who have made mention of ubiquitous surveillance? I know Mumei has "joked" about watching some of her viewers in a threatening way (like "I'm in your walls" type stuff) so I guess that sort of counts.

I dont know what clipper channels you all check, but the ones i do dont rely only on lewdness & drama for clicks. Melody & Finana are lewd vtubers with or without clips, and the clips are proportional to the content they offer, thats why someone like Ina for example is really hard to milk a lewd clip. Not everyone has all the time of the world to see entire streams, even just to prove someone that X vtuber its lewd or not, a lot of viewers consume more clips than full streams so i cant blame their subjective judgement.

And yes i know all started with a bait but i wanted to point that anyways.

Not Mika. Nina met up with Luca, Sonny, and Ban. Then Luca and Nina travelled together to meet up with Vox, Mysta, Ike, Mika, and Oliver in Paris.

Interestingly, Oliver may have had to pass this meeting off as a work thing because Japan is still shut until next month.

Fellas, why do you love your Oshi?

The reason I fell into this at all is because how fresh it felt. There were streamers I've enjoyed watching for a while (Tomato, Jerma, Aris), but I had never seen anything like Pekora and Korone before 2019. Like many people I immediately dismissed vtubers as lame exploitative weeb crap, but a year later something about those two in particular (plus the Coco/Miko clips and Haachama) drew me back into it. They could make anything entertaining, are passionate and dedicated to their content, plus hololive's whole idol model and natural camaraderie between members lent everything this sense of ambition that is lacking in most Western streamers. It's so far removed from what the internet and media in general has felt like since 2014 and it's just so fun to see. Plus watching Japanese women trying to speak English will forever be one of the highest forms of entertainment.

I think @Deluxe's post about oshis and idol culture back during Rushia's termination sums up some of my thoughts

For me it's Polka. Her drive, her creativity, her talent as an entertainer, storyteller and singer, her ability to bounce off any member rivals that of Marine, her sense of humor and comedic timing, her coming off as erudite when she talks about her interests. She just hits so many checkboxes to me. She's in a similar situation as Marine where the fandom hyperfocuses on a small part of their personality, when both of them are some of the most empathetic, sweet and intelligent people in the company.

I certainly think she wants to hang out with the girls as well.

The problem is that Nina loves to travel and engage in new cultures, but all the girls are fucking leafs like her or some species of gun-toting hillbilly. The two girls she's met are Australian-Korean and Indonesian (in Europe).

Made me realise NijiEN actually doesn't have girls outside of NA, except Petra who is probably tough to get to, whilst the boys are all over the place.

The honey barrage was definitely done on purpose to piss off people who disliked it (and anons), she would double down on it with glee. Putting my distrust aside, I thought aggressive assertion of herself like that was a risky move for a newcomer but the simp brigade loved it - which proves her past life statements about simps to be 100% correct.
