First post. I was cajoled into visiting this thread by a frequent poster. Maybe this place will be cool and I'll stick around.
Borzoi is an insufferable dweeb who rose to the pinnacle of insufferable dweeb internet celebrity by making the right friends and being prolific. He's no different than Fuentes. A nerdy hanger-on who got in tight with some cool kids by doing grunt work for them early on and maintains his position by being snarky and insulting anyone who would dare criticize the people who granted him status. He's a gatekeeper to power. His current stature makes you wonder if all those hatchet job novels about Nazi subordinates being of the same character weren't telling the truth. And because his path to prominence is so transparent he has an army of lesser Borzoi's who think that by niggerpiling anyone who mildly disagrees with Borzoi they will in turn achieve status. Nutjobs who will post, apropos nothing, long diatribes about how "real men" view pagans. (picrel) Is this even a real thing? Pagans vs Christians? Would you just look at this lolcow post and wonder wtf was going through that guy's head.
I don't disagree with Borzoi's critiques on society. They aren't special genius level takes either. But once he decided to become a Catholic it all went to shit. First he was converting for community, now he's firmly in the corner of the internet that are so absorbed in interfaith dialog that there is exactly zero percent chance left he ever participates in recruiting another White Nationalist fro the secular community again. And it would appear by his own retarded comments screencapped a few pages back that he actually believes converting normies isn't the most important thing we can do. Utter idiocy. Their conversations are atrociously arrogant, unrelatable, and above all, useless. FAITH IS DEAD. And that's when they aren't so desperate for a new angle they suggest absurd cringe like anti-literacy. The only service he does for the WN community anymore is galvanize hate against himself. And despite my tone, I used to really enjoy him and especially the milieu of personalities he introduced me to like John Q. Publius, James LaFond (unless he was Specter's discovery), and Nike. Everything you need to know about Borzoi can be summed up in his marriage. Knocked up the first girl who ever let him try. She's hideous. Had a shotgun marriage. Joined a faith out of convenience. This is not a portrait of constancy worthy of leadership.
Myles Poland is nearly as bad but keeps to his corner. It's like these religious guys find it impossible to engage, even with a microphone, without being arrogant and pretentious. He thinks he's better than everyone and it's impossible to miss. The classic Holy Roller. Literally on a pulpit all the time. Must make those NJP events a lot of fun.
The only exception I have encountered are Ex/Am, who despite mentioning Christ too frequently for my liking do it quickly and don't spiral into useless religious chatter. And of course TRS jettisoned them over a poor opsec decision (that's a whole nother issue which I sided with Ex/Am on) but now they're tight with that narc commie Pikachu, who I can only assume bought her way into their friendship, so maybe TRS made the right choice by accident.
The TRS brass probably look at this association with Christianity like Hitler did. "There are enough White Christians we need them on out side, but let's not focus on it." And that's a solid strategy if they don't sperg out like the Christians insist on doing and drive people away from your movement. And now you have Borzoi essentially saying they don't even need you, "Big Normie." The keep tightening the strings on what is and is not acceptable in WN2.0. The no tattoos thing is a good example of another irrational stance. Some of the best guys we have are the ones who were seduced by the Jew when they were young and eventually broke the programming. They're he ones who have a Hitleresque backstory and fully comprehend the siren song of Jewish media. They have the capacity to speak to other young men in a way the Borzoi's of the world never will. They bare the scars of this spiritual struggle. What's next, no single fathers? No vets because they fell for ZOG? If you had a Pitbull before finding TRS you will have to put it down? I mean, shit, they don't even want you knowing how to read now...
And TRS are struggling. Which makes me sad. They are pushing the paywall hard. Perhaps if they focused on expansion they would expand. Saying "get vetted" isn't expansion. But Borzoi and his crew don't think recruitment matters. Even if they did, what they are offering isn't attractive. New guys are thirsty for action. Not Jesus. They want to do something. And until TRS/NJP have actual things for these guys to be doing that isn't restricted to paying them and listening quietly, they will continue to shrink.
The one new thing TRS have going on now that is a net boon is Warren. That guy is awesome. You can bitch that he makes too many pop culture references but analogy is a strong rhetorical device to build association and camaraderie. I find his personality very appealing.
