The gradual mutation/devolution of the rat character in the first one to some kind of fucking furry rabbit steven universe with a lizard tail buttplug really is something else. The fox randomly gaining devil horns is fucking odd too but not as weird as the rat to fat rabbit pipeline.

Tbf Usopp was confirmed to be African by Oda so he’s probably black.

Ussop's island was said to be somewhat equivalent to africa or something similar but the thing is Africans aren't all black. long nose? curly hair? obsessed with fame and fortune? The company listen to “jp enstarries” more because:

1. The majority of players are japanese.
2. It’s a region-locked japanese game.
3. Most of the people making demands of them use fake japanese accounts to access their services.

You can find it offensive, but you can’t be shocked when they don’t listen.

If it upsets you that deeply then you probably shouldn’t play, because the company does not and will not (most likely) care.

I might be blind but both the original and the "fixed" art seem fine.

I really want to know how is it racist against Arabs? The art looks completely fine and inoffensive? It's only sin is being anime so you can't tell the ethnicity of the characters without being explicitly informed.

A lot of these redrawers and whiners expect the respective minority character to look like the most stereotypical, big lipped, mangle faced creature. One that naturally is wearing a pin for every single special category they also happen to inhabit (Which is usually the same the 'artist' is).

Ok so if I understand correctly, @Moraocx made a "graphic design is my passion edit" then @st4rryL3n redrew the improved edit. If the character is supposed to be Arab then the edit actually looks racist because his clothes look inspired from orientalist ideas of bellydancers and Arab clothing. My remaining braincells are working overtime to decipher the tweets.
